Passed peacefully away on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Waterford Hospital. He was predeceased by parents, John Marshall and Mary Ann Fudge (nee Vallis) and sisters, Margaret and Greta. He is survived by brother, Marshall Fudge (Etta), sisters, Grace Lachapelle (Robert), Myrtice Alpen (Douglas) and a large number of nieces and nephews. Randall was a member of the 59th (Newfoundland) Heavy Regiment, Royal Artillery. He served in the Newfoundland Regiment from November 7, 1942 and on March 1, 1943, he mastered to the Royal Artillery. He was injured in London as a result of the Blitz remaining in hospital in England until returning to Newfoundland and invalided out February 5, 1944. As a result of his injuries he was a resident of the Waterford Hospital until his death. Following cremation, a memorial service was held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 16 at the Waterford Hospital, St. John's, NL., at which time Colors were presented. A family service and internment will take place from St. Lawrence Church, Belleoram, NL. this summer. The family thanks the staff of the Waterford Hospital for the wonderful care Randall received over the years. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Spencer's Funeral Home.

LOVELESS, Dulcie E.

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbor Breton on Friday, March 27, 2009, Mrs. Dulcie E. Loveless age 77 years of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay. Leaving to mourn her loving family, husband, Garfield; six sons, Jordan (Grace), Baxter (Nancy), all at Hermitage, Merlin (Madeline), Seal Cove, Hughie (Cathy), Grand Falls-Windsor, Roger (Cathy), Ottawa, Shawn (Roxanne), Seal Cove, Fortune Bay; three daughters, Irene (Thomas Spencer), Seal Cove, Judy (Mike Winsor), Triton and Yvonne (Terry Pitcher), Ottawa; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret (Allan Rideout), Hilda (Clayton Loveless) of Seal Cove, Helen Langdon of Grand Bank and Mary (Lorne Winsor) of Grand Falls-Windsor; one brother, Norman (Marion) of Seal Cove; one sister-in-law, Janet Loveless, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers, Clyde Loveless (Dorothy), Wallace Loveless (Gertie), Earl and brother-in-law, Albert Langdon. Funeral service took place on Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Seal Cove with Capt. and Mrs. Canning officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

SAVOURY, William John

Age: 64
Location Belleoram, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, March 28, 2009, Mr. William John Savoury, age 64 years of Belleoram. Willie leaves to mourn his step father, Joe; four brothers, Cecil (Hilda) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Cyril (Laura) of Winnipeg, Andrew (Jane) of Belleoram, Onslow (Vera) of Paradise; three sisters, Pearl Abbott (Charlie) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Mary Lane (Derek) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Marlene McCarthy (Neil) of St. Jacques, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, John and Ida Savoury and sister, Meta Lorraine. William John Savoury was born in Belleoram on March 18, 1945 to John and Ida Savoury. When he was young, Willie, as his family knew him, loved to spend time in the woods cutting firewood and was always determined to catch a trout or two. He enjoyed taking walks and never seemed to mind what the temperature was outside. He certainly enjoyed a good laugh and at times could be quite witty himself. The dearest thing to his heart was music and enjoyed listening to all kinds. He especially loved the times when his brother, Andrew and Gord Drakes would get together at his home and play music for hours. It really made his day! Funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 31, at 2:00 pm from St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Belleoram with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Belleoram. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
