Leaving to mourn his loving family; one daughter, Laura; three sons, Ernest (Phyllis), Sam (Elizabeth), all at Harbour Breton, Norman (Lillian), and Bertram, all at Louisberg, N.S; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one special friend, Ernie Skinner Jr. plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Rosanna, daughter-in-law, Dorothy and grandson, Jason. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Harbour Breton with Rev. Leaving to mourn his loving family--wife, Marion, three daughters; Barbara (Neil Locke) at Grand Bank, Maude at Pool's Cove and Myrtle (Fred Champion) at Bishops Falls: five grandchildren; Kenny and Kody Williams, Miles, Heidi and Sebastian Locke, Lauren Monteiro and Spencer Williams; one bother, Wilfred at Pool's Cove, sisters, Laura Williams at St. Catherine's and Myrtle Williams at St. John's, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral service were held on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 2:00 pm from McDermott Memorial United Church in Pool's Cove. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Pool's Cove.
