It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bede Benoit announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls Windsor, NL on Thursday January 10, 2013 at the age of 79. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Aggie; children: Gerard (Cecilia), Yvonne (Claude John), Marilyn (Wayne Drew), Shirley (Eugene Jeddore), Betty (Larry John), Rod (Tara), Wayne (Gina) & Les (Cynthia), all of Conne River, NL; grandchildren: Tina, Perry, Paula, Warren, Stephen, Victoria, Kerri-Ann, Zachary, Will & Kailee; great grandchildren: Mackenzie & Carmen; brother Frank (Rita), Conne River, NL; sister: Emily Benoit, Conne River, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son: Clyde; parents: Frank & Mary Hannah Benoit; brothers: Jim Benoit & Ben Benoit; sisters Veronica McDonald & Elizabeth Benoit. The funeral service was held on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Anne`s R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conne river. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dakotak Benoit announce his passing at his Residence, St. Alban's, NL on Sunday January 20, 2013 at the age of 17. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents: Allan & Amanda; brother: Cian Kealey, Fort McMurray, AB; sister: Cheyenne Benoit, Fort McMurray, AB; grandmother: Nellie Loveless, St. Alban`s, NL; grandfather: Walene Benoit, St. Alban's, NL as well as a large circle of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his Grandfather: Willis Loveless; grandmother: Elizabeth Benoit. The funeral service was held on Thursday January 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

CLUETT, Laura (Blagdon)

Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Agnes Pratt Home in St. John's, Mrs. Laura (Blagdon) Cluett of Coombs Cove, NL, age 82 years. She was the last child of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Bessie) Blagdon. Predeceased by her husband, Archie (2006), son, Wendall (1983) and, also, her brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn: daughter, Beverly Penney (Tom); grandson, Shane Cluett (Debbie), and their children, Lucas, Lexie and Logan; grandson, Justin Cluett (Nancy) and their children, Cassidy, Avery and Olivia. Also, leaving to mourn, daughter-in-law, Marjorie Forsey (Wayne); sisters-in-law, Millie Blagdon, Selena Vallis and Georgina MacKinnon (Percy); brother-in-law, Stanley Fiander (Judy); special cousin, Edna Cutler (Nathan), special friend, Sadie Lawrence; also many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Holy Trinity Church, Coombs Cove, Fortune Bay from 7:00pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 and Saturday, January 26, 2013. Funeral took place on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2:00pm from Holy Trinity Church, Coombs Cove. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Coombs Cove with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencers Funeral Home, Harbour Breton.

COLLIER, Aloysius (Ally)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ally Collier announce his passing at the Northern Lights Regional Hospital, Fort MacMurray, AB on Monday January 7, 2013 at the age of 43. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Debra; step-daughter: Samantha Drew; siblings: Alma Gaulton (Reuben), Mary Fewer, Dominic Collier, Wence Collier (Darlene), Jeannie Kendell (Gary), Bernadette Collier, Peter Collier(Wendy) as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Aloysius & Margaret Collier; brother in law: Paul Fewer. The funeral service was held on Monday January 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

HEARN, Andrew
Born In: Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, Canada

Surrounded by his family, Andy passed away peacefully on January 18, 2013 in Belleville, Ontario. Loving husband of 50 years to Shirley, and dear father to Sheila, Bill, Brian and Brenda. Loved deeply by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Pre-deceased by his parents Charlotte & William Hearn, late of Harbour Breton. He will be sadly missed by his brothers John (Liza) of St. John's, Richard (Norma) of Montreal, and sister Genevieve of Montreal. He spent many vacations at the Barachois and enjoyed the hospitality and generousity of his Harbour Breton friends.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Phyllis Barnes, St. Alban`s, NL; son: John (philomena), St. Alban`s, NL; grandchildren: Robert (Emily), Heather (Kenneth), Trudy (Shawn), & Michelle (John); great-grandren: Hailey, Taylor & Caitlin; sister: Martha Organ, St. Alban`s, NL; sisters in law: Rosaleen Collier & Betty Collier; special niece: Margaret (Harold LeRoux) as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Norman; infant son; son in law: Raymond Barnes parents: David & Lenora Collier; brothers: Albert, Joseph, Thomas & Dennis; sister in law Kathleen Collier; brother in law: Stanley Organ. QUANN, Patrick

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Thursday, January 3, 2013, Mr. Patrick Quann, age 66 years, of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Geraldine E. Quann; daughters, Kathy (Paul) at Grand Falls-Windsor, Gloria (Chris) and Terri (Jamie) all at Harbour Breton; son, Mike (Colette) at St. John's; nine grandchildren; brothers, Leo at New Brunswick, William (Carol) at Canso, N.S., Sandy (Goldie), Anthony (Susanne), Daniel (Bessie) and James (Sandra) all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Julie at Grand Falls-Windsor, Helen at Alberta and Christine (John) at Nova Scotia; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Sarah and Patrick Quann and sister, Dina Mary. Visitation was at Spencer's Funeral Home at Harbour Breton for family only. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 7, 2012, at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Justin Dawson officiating. Interment of ashes took place at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
