Passed away in Wales on January 25, 2010, Mrs. Yvonne Mary Arbuckle, wife of Thomas Joseph Arbuckle, formerly of Head of Bay D'Espoir. She was born in Lincoln, England, on June 9, 1924. Fondly remembered by her four children; Barbara Gaudry, Richard (Madonna Cox), Trevor (Victoria Skanes) and James (Linda Jefferson); twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a large circle of friends. Funeral Service to inter Mrs. Arbuckle's ashes was held on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 2:00 pm at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Head of Bay D'Espoir.Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home. Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital at Gander on Thursday, January 21, 2010, Jerome Collier, age 72 of St Alban's. Leaving to mourn his loving family: one son, Boyd (Sheri) and one daughter, Libby Organ (Scott) both at St Alban's; two grandchildren, Jaime and Marcus, and one sister, Doris Collier at Ottawa plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his first wife, Frances Davis Collier; second wife, Nora Willmott Collier, and common law wife, Mabel Organ; four brothers, Cyril, Sebastian, Felix and Patrick; three sisters, Agnes Finley, Elizabeth Organ and Martha McDonald and a number of other relatives. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 25th, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in St Alban's with Father Houlahan officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery at St. Alban's. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Martha; four daughters, Alma (Allison) at Harbour Breton, Irene (Myril) and Darlene (Curtis) at Bradford, Ont., Sandra (Keith) at Harbour Breton; 3 sons, Lloyd and Melvin (Audrey) at Harbour Breton, Karl (Delores) at Barrie, Ont., and daughter in law, Rita Hunt, at Harbour Breton; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by son, Norman; brother, John Fred; sister, Sabina; parents, Thomas and Mary Hunt. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Colbourne officiating. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Betty; two daughters, Barbara (Reuben) at Grand Bank and Marlene (Todd) at Lower Sackville, NS; three sons, Alfred (Gail) and Larry (Betty) at Grand Bank, and Bill (Janet) at Lower Sackville, NS; eight grandchildren, Holly, Sylvia, Daniel, Samantha, Brittany, Amy, Dylan and Lucas; one brother, Leonard (Joy) and one sister, Bessie (Fred Forsey) at Seal Cove plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Chesley and Dulcie Langdon, and sister, Meta Forsey. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Seal Cove with Captains Ed and Rose Canning officiating. Predeceased by her mother and father, Elizabeth and Clarence May of Belleoram; husband, William; brothers, Ellison and Clarence and sister, Julie. Leaving to mourn a number of cousins, nephews, and nieces , and many friends near and far, especially at the KM Homes in St. Alban's and the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte. Predeceased by her husband, William T. Tibbo, in 1986. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 2:00 pm from St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Belleoram with Rev. Peter Windover officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Belleoram. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.
