It is with great sadness that the family of the late Johnny Collier announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday February 3, 2012 at the age of 67. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving and devoted wife: Jenny; children: Deanne Collier, Toronto, ON; son: Lieviso (Jennifer), Toronto, ON; brother: Eddie, St. Alban's, NL; sisters: Theresa Collier & Lila Cox (Joe Hoskins), all of St. Alban's, NL; sisters in law: Mary A. Collier & Mary E Collier both of St. Alban's, NL; brother in law: Tom Collier, St. John's, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Samuel & Eva Collier; brothers: Anthony, Lloyd, Kenneth, Eric; sister: Regina Collier. The funeral service was held on Monday February 6, 2012 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

HAYDEN, Joseph P.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Hayden of St. Alban's, NL, formerly of Petite Frote, NL announce his passing at the Bay d'Espoir community Health Centre, St. Alban's, NL on Wednesday February 22, 2012 at the age of 67. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Rosalind; children: Edward (Dawn Dennis) & Jon (Colleen), all of St. John's, NL; brothers: Eric, Petite Forte, NL, Jim, David & Eddie (Mary), all of St. John's, NL; sisters: Marie, St. John's, NL, Blanche, St. John's, NL, Barbara, Toronto, ON, Nora (Donald), Lafayette, IN, USA, Mary (Ches), Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Emma Hayden, Noah Hayden, Jacob Hayden, Taylor Dennis & Ella Hayden as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Osbourne & Melinda Hayden; niece: Ann Marie Hayden. The funeral service was held on Saturday February 25, 2012 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

QUANN, Myrtle

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, Mrs. Myrtle Quann, age 80 years of Conne River. Leaving to mourn her loving family: sons, Roy (Helen), Patrick (Delores), William (Cora) and Johnny, all at Conne River; daughters, Sheila Collier (Adonis) at Fort MacMurray, AB, Maggie Organ (Tom), Glenda Drew (Damien) and Trina Crant (Gerard), all at Conne River; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Pius John, Ron (Ida), all at Conne River, Edward at Toronto, Louis (Loretta) at Conne River, Howard John and Mike (Melita), all at St. Alban's; sisters, Catherine Benoit (Cass) at Conne River and Eileen Willcott (George) at St. Alban's plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, John Quann; son, Joby; grand daughter, Melissa Organ; brothers, Don, Alex, Gordon and Bill. Funeral service was held on Monday, February 13, 2012, at 11:00 am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Conne River with Father Edward Brophy officiating.
