Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Thursday, August 1, 2013, Mrs. Olive Bobbett, age 93 years, who resided at KM Homes in St. Alban's, formerly of Pass Island. Leaving to mourn her loving family: son, Clyde and wife, Audrey; daughter in law, Ida Bobbett, all at Sandyville; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters in law, Olive Piercey and Eva Piercey, both at Fortune; plus a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Ralph; son, Kenneth; daughter, Winnie Lushman; son in law, Ralph; granddaughter, Darlene; plus other relatives. Funeral service was held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 am from the St. Saviour's Anglican Church at Hermitage-Sandyville with Rev. George Spencer officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer's Funeral Home.

Predeceased by husband, Freeman (Oct. 2011), her parents, Gordon and Matilda Sutton, and sister, Mildred. Funeral service took place at Christ Anglican Church on Saturday, August 31 at 4:30 pm. with interment following at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Predeceased by his loving and devoted wife, Hazel (1994) and his brother, Chesley (2007). He leaves behind with loving and precious memories his daughter, Janet Toope (Terry) and his son, Ronnie; his sisters-in-law, Ada Simms (Port aux Basques) and Mary (John) Wells (Harbour Breton); nieces and nephews, Bob (Gertie) Simms, Garf (Joan) Simms, Mary (Max Keeping), Doug (Audrey) Wells, Hannah (Daron Lilly) and Gary (Trudy) Wells; and a large circle of extended family and friends, especially step-brother, Jacob (Blanche) Simms. Funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31at 2:00 p.m. from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
