Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Monday, August 8, 2011, Mrs. Irene Hynes, age 64 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: daughters, Patsy (Melvin Pierce), Sandra (Leo Pierce) at Harbour Breton, and Christa (Harvey Brenton) at Edmonton, AB; sons, Rick (Darlene) at Harbour Breton and Tony (Frances) at Springdale; six grandchildren, Jeanine, Gina, Gina Ann, Jordan, Cody and Leonard; great grandchild, Sophie; sisters, Bella (John Oke), Emma (George Bullen) and Phyllis (Sam Strickland) all at Harbour Breton; brothers, Bruce (Charlotte) at Wreck Cove and Murray (Marilyn) at Harbour Breton plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Sandy, and parents, Stanley and Jane Bungay. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at 2:00 pm from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton with Father Justin officiating. Passed peacefully away at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS, on Saturday, August 20, 2011, Mrs. Lynette Morris, age 39 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Perry, at Lower Sackville, NS and a very special pet, Zack; mother, Anne Marie Snook and brother, Freddie, both at Harbour Breton; brothers, Paul (Stacy) at St. John's and Kenneth (Judy) at Gander; parents in law, Wesley and Gladys Morris at Harbour Breton; brothers in law, Colin (Corina) and Chloe, Jamie (Leslie) and Jaxon at St. John's, plus a large number of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her dad, Frederick, on July 30, 2009, grandparents, Thomas and Marjorie Snook, and, Leo and Lillian Stewart. Funeral service was held on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 11:00 am from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Justin Dawson officiating. PERRY, Craig

A man known by many and admired by all for his strength, his courage, and his determination, Craig J. Perry, 42 years of age, passed peacefully away in the presence of his family, after an inspiring eleven year journey with cancer, on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Leaving to mourn his wife and partner in life for over 24 years, Jocelyn, and his five year old son and pride of his life, James. He, also, leaves to mourn his father and mother, David and Irene; his only sister, Rhonda (Owen); his parents in law, Gordon and Helen; his sister in law, Leanne (Wayne); his brother in law, Paul (Tracey); his niece, Katherine; and nephews, Andrew, Ryan and Nathan. He will be sadly missed but always remembered by his many aunts and uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends. Rested at Christ Church in Bay D'Espoir. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Christ Church in Milltown, Bay D'Espoir. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation can be made to the Dr. H. SUTTON, John

, passed away peacefully at his residence in Torbay, NL on Friday August 26, 2011 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a brave battle with cancer. He has left to mourn his wife of 58 years, Barbara (Long) and his 10 children: Bernadette (Boyde), Victor (Alma), Rosalia (Jim), Jerome (Darlene), Philomena (Sylvain), Alfred (Rebecca), Margaret (Harry), John (Angela), Anthony (Patrick) and Jacqueline (Stephen); 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many family and friends. Born May 5, 1929, in Bay d'Espoir, NL, he was the son of the late John William Sutton and Catherine (Foote) Sutton and one of 13 siblings: Mary Amelia (deceased), George, Florence (deceased), Joseph (deceased), Denis (deceased), Alfred, Wallace, Clarence, Catherine, Elmer and Christopher. He built his life as a carpenter, a doting husband, and a devoted father. His later years were enjoyed with Barbara travelling throughout Canada, relishing his family and friends and rarely missing the opportunity for a game of cards or darts. He found delight through an active lifestyle weather it be tending his garden or touring the bays and coves of his beloved Newfounland and Labrador. He leaves behind a wide circle or friends and will be dearly missed. The funeral service was held on Monday August 29, 2011 at 10 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
