WALSH, Marie (nee McCARTHY) - Passed away suddenly at her home in Renews on Tuesday, May 2, 1989, 82 years old. Predeceased by her husband James. Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Catherine. Two sisters: Mrs. Annie O'Neill and Bertha (Mrs. Dan Pittman). Two brothers: Patrick and wife Mary, John and wife Louise, all at Renews. Two sisters-in-law, Stella Walsh at Florida and Catherine (Mrs. Cecil Walsh) at St. John's. Six nephews and eight nieces, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Funeral from the Holy Apostle Church, Renews on Friday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the R.C. Retired from the Wandlyn Motel in 1983 and she was a member of St. Theresa's Church. Surviving are daughters: Donna (Boston), Gladys (Mrs. Dave Lundrgan) Mount Pearl, Patricia (Mrs. Ray Roberge) and Mary (Mrs. Bob Donais) both of Chatam, Ontario; two sons: Paul Tilley of Victoria County, Cape Breton and Greg of Sydney; brother Mike, Barnes Road, St. John's, sister Gladys (Mrs. Bill Galately) St. John's; predeceased by two grandsons.
