VICKERS, Patrick W. - Passed away on January 15th in St. Petersburg, Florida, Patrick W. Vickers. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Florence; one son, Gary and daughter-in-law Judy; five daughters: Regina, Diane (son-in-law Gerry), Brenda (son-in-law George), Sharon (son-in-law Leo), Janice (son-in-law Greg); three sisters; Dolores (O'Reilly) and brother-in-law Terry (Goulds, Sister Regina, St. Patrick's Convent (St. John's), Carmelita (White), Witless Bay; also 11 grandchildren. Remains resting in St. Petersburg, January 16th. Returning to his residence in Happy Valley, January 18th for rest and burial from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Gertrude, mother and father-in-law Dan and Isabella Howlett, one daughter Marlene Miller (Gerard); four sons Randy (Geannie), Ron, Keith (Georgina), Danny; eight grandchildren, brothers Marty (Rose), Len (Mary), sisters Clara Howlett (Andrew), Gertrude White, Gen Howlett (Thomas), Patricia Vickers (Herman), Nellie Guest (Gordie), special friends Richard and Ita Howlett and a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. VICKERS, William - Bell Island, Passed away suddenly in his 54th year on Bell Island. Leaving to mourn one brother Mike, Stephenville; one sister, Regina, Ottawa; one Aunt, Sister Mary Regina Carbage, St John's; four nephews; special friends; Myrtle and Clarence Rose; plus a host of other friends and relatives. VINCENT, Bessie - Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Tuesday, July 22nd, Mrs. Bessie Vincent of Grand Bank, in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn two daughters: Phyllis, Mrs. Simeon Patten, Grand Bank, Betty, St. John's; two sons: Charles, wife Mary, and Keith, all at Grand Bank; two sisters: Mrs. Esther Clements, Grand Bank, Mrs. Ann Baker, Halifax; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas and son Clyde. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 24th at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank with interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. VINCENT, John Joseph (Jake) - suddenly on Thursday, April 22nd, 1993 at West Park Hospital, after a lengthy illness, John, beloved husband of Dorothy, dear father of John Jr., Madonna, Sharon, Robert, Kathy and Edward, loving grandfather of nine. Survived by his mother Ethel Vincent of St. John's and his four sisters and one brother. Sadly missed by family and friends.
