Neil, Charles Edwin (Bill) - Passed peacefully away at his residence on May 7, 1990, Charles Edwin (Bill) Neal in his 75th year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Ruby (nee Heath); daughter, Gean and son-in-law Bill Aitken of Mount Pearl; son, Douglas and daughter-in-law Debra (nee Briggs); five grandchildren: Janet, Jennifer and Bill Aitken Jr., Anthony and Megan Neal. She is survived by sons: Walter and wife Kay of Eastport, James and wife Margaret of Long Harbour, William and wife Cecelia of Calgary, Samuel and wife Shirley of Gander, Terry and wife Christine of Gander, Brian of St. John's; daughters: Agnes Joy of Gander, Ann and husband Reuben Hillier of Gander, Rose and husband William Legge of Sweet Bay, Doris and husband Robert Nowlan of Truro, N.S.; brother Billy Kelly and wife Frances of Gander; 34 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Simon; her sons: Thomas, Albert and Leo; and her son-in-law Leslie Smith. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Josephine (Bill) Davis, Colinet, Annie Smith, Ohio; her son Leo (Joan); her daughter-in-law Anne Nolan, all at Mt. Nolan, Inez Marie - Age 51, passed peacefully away on November 5, 1996. She was the daughter of Margaret and the late Harry Peddle, formerly of Bell Island. Inez was the beloved wife of Brian; mother of Marc and Ian, and sister of Judy Oldford, all of Grand Falls-Windsor. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. The funeral was held on November 8th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Grand Falls-Windsor. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Nolan, Philomena (ne Bishop) - Resident of Pioneer Lodge, Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 1993. She was born on April 4, 1907 in Gaskiers, Newfoundland, where she resided until moving to Grande Prairies to Pioneer Lodge in 1984. She leaves to mourn her children: Bridget (Bill) Miller of Pennsylvania, U.S.A., John of Calgary, Joseph (Nancy) of Alabama, U.S.A., Pat of Florida U.S.A., Cyril (Carol ) of Grande Prairies, Mike of Salmonier, Newfoundland, Willie (Eva) of England, and Frank of England; her brother John Tom Bishop of St. Mary's, Newfoundland and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceaded by her husband John in 1972; her sister Margariete (White) in 1989; her brother Pat Bishop in 1983; and Will Jo Bishop. A prayer service was held at Oliver Funeral Chapel, Grande Prairie, Alberta on Thursday, October 21, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. with Father Stan Liska officiating. Nolan, Rita M. - Passed away suddenly at her home in Mt. Carmel, S.M.B., on Tuesday, May 24, 1994, Rita M. Nolan (nee Carew), age 39 years. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Dorothy Crew. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Fred; two daughters: Allison (Gerald) and Melinda (Johnny); one granddaughter Kyle; five sisters: Bride, Theresa, Barbara (Gary) Sooley, Isabelle (Don) Devine, Michelle (Keith) Ryan; four brothers: Michael (Theresa), John (Ann), Edward (Michelle), Thomas (Barb); mother-in-law Kathleen Nolan; two brothers-in-law: Tom, Walter; one sister-in-law: Donna; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Funeral to take place on Friday, May 27th, following 11am Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel. Interment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. - Nolan, Rita M., 24 May 1994

Nolan, RoseAnn (Grace) - Tragically killed in British Columbia. Predeceased by father Gerald. Leaving to mourn mother Theresa; seven children: Danielle, Tammy, Jason, Curtis, Jeff, Susan and Stephanie; one grandchild Tyler; six sisters: Barb (Ed), Geraldine (Cliff), Sheila, Madonna (Don), Heather (Don) and Mary (Gary); six brothers: Leonard (Linda), Billy (Jackie), Gerald (Regina), Tom (Lorraine ) and Frank (Pam); also nieces, nephews and a large number of friends.
