McCARTHY, Mary C. Mackey - It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Mary C. Mackey McCarthy announce her passing on Sunday, November 5, 1995 at her family residence, in her 96th year. She will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Mary Fleming and husband Jim, Seattle, Washington, Claire Tower and husband Mauri, Virginia Beach, Margaret Beckman and husband Thomas, Arkansas, Patricia Prendergast and husband Jim, Corner Brook, with whom she resided; three sons: John Mackey and wife Marie, Grand Falls, Paul Mackey and wife Betty, Edmonton, Alberta, Leo Mackey and wife Kay, Carbonear; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands: John Mackey of Carbonear and George McCarthy of Carbonear.
