Lake of Hamilton, Mass., sons Spencer of New York, Philip of Hamilton, Mass., daughters: Peggy of Easton, Maryland, Sarah of Westby, Mass., stepson Berch of Gloucester, Mass., stepdaughter Gaye of Manchester, Maine. A private family service will be held on May 13th followed by a mass at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Church near the family home at Hamilton where Margaret shall be laid to rest. LAKE, Spenecr G. - Age 79, died Sunday, May 26, 1996 at his residence in Naples, Florida. Mr. Lake was born in Fortune, Newfoundland, Canada and had been a resident of Naples since 1991, coming here from Wenham, Massachusetts. He was an alumni of Prince of Wales College and a member of Bank of Canada Board of Directors, and a member of North Naples United Methodist Church. He is survived by his companion Sally Tucker of Naples, his sons Spencer G. of Hong Kong, and Philip G. of Lexington, VA.; his four daughters Gaye E. R. Lake of Newbury, MA., Sarah M. Lake of Genoa, WI and Suzanne E.. Lake of Saint Louis, MO; his 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grand-children. Also surviving are three sisters: Margaret Martin of Newfoundland, Canada, Gertrude Leishman of Vancouver, Canada and Beatrice Ellwood of Montreal, Canada. Mr. Lake was preceded in death by his son, Berch H. C. Lake and his sister, Janet M. "Tannie" Lake. LAKE, Stella - Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital on January 31st, 1998 after a valiant struggle with cancer, Stella Lake, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her mother and father, Sarah and James Pollard; six sisters and two brothers. LEE, Donald Gerard - After a lengthy illness, Mr. Donald Gerard Lee passed away suddenly in Ottawa on 4 October 1992. Funeral arrangements are being made by McEvoy/Shields, with a private service and burial taking place in his home town of Riverhead, Newfoundland. Mr. Lee was born and educated in St. John's Newfoundland. A large percentage of his life was devoted to working with the Mentally Handicapped. To further this goal, he moved to Ottawa in 1987 where he took up a position in 'Special Education' with the Carleton Roman Catholic Separate School Board at the Lester B. Pearson Catholic High School where he remained until his early retirement. Mr. Lee is survived by his parents Peter and Beatrice Lee of Riverhead, Newfoundland, his Aunt Rose Lee of St. John's Newfoundland, his life companion David Joy, his brother Wayne and sister-in-law Debbie of Riverhead, Newfoundland, his brother Edward and sister-in-law Lucy of St. John's, Newfoundland, his nephews Dwayne, Deon and Christopher and niece Dawn Marie, and his many friends and colleagues across Canada and in Newfoundland.
