Leaving to mourn husband Martin; children: Eugene, Brenda (Andy), Martin, Mary (Dave), Gerard and Peter; three grandchildren: sisters-in-law: Mary, Madeline, Mercedes and Annie; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. DONOVAN - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on July 31, 1979, Dolorosa (Dolo) of the Goulds in her 65th year, wife of the late Francis J. Donovan, who predeceased her on July 3, 1979. She leaves to mourn her sister, Margaret (Mrs. Val Noonan), Goulds, her brothers Gerald Healey at Montreal and William Healey at St. John's, also a large circle of other relative and friends. Remains resting at her residence in the Goulds. DOOLING, Christina (nee Carey) - Passed peacefully away at her home in the Goulds on Sunday, October 7, 1990, aged 86 years. Leaving to mourn three sons: Patrick at home, Leonard and wife Veronica, Goulds, Frank and wife Sandra of Mount Pearl; one daughter, Isable (Mrs. William Martin), Goulds, also fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband George, her daughters Gladys and Mary and her son George. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Gerry (husband Richard Brady), Staten Island, New York; her three sons: James (wife Theresa), Avondale, Jack (wife Joan), Staten Island, N.Y., and Norman (wife Belle), St. John's; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Alan and Ester (Kelly) Doyle. Prior to moving to Dartmouth in 1984 he lived and worked in Gander. There he was employed with the airline as a Flight Dispatcher since 1941. He retired in 1987 from Canadian Airlines. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member and a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Jean (Dawe) and a daughter Kathy of Dartmouth; a brother Joseph, St. John's and a sister Mary Wolf of Margate, N.J. (U.S.A.).
