WD WWII, formerly of Bell Island- Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Palliative Care Unit in the presence of her family on Tuesday, November 21st, 1995, in her 71st year. Leaving to mourn her husband of 51 years Jellicoe; son Blair (Bertha), St. John's; daughter Elaine (Hal) Fillier, Toronto; grandchildren: Christopher and Colin Clarke of St. John's, Bruce (Mary) Fillier and Michelle (Rick) Russell, great-granddaughter Megan Russell, of Toronto; brothers: Frank and Jack Brown, Bell Island, Ambrose and Mike Brown, Brantford, Ont.; sister Veronica (Rone) Kent, Halifax; special family friend Tanya Maryniak; also many relatives and special friends Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. CLARKE, Agnes Josephine (Wiseman) - Entered into eternal rest in the presence of her loved ones at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Tuesday, March 29th, aged 83 years. Predeceased by husband George, 1984, and daughter Diane, 1985. A lifetime of beautiful memories of a remarkable woman will be shared and never forgotten by her four daughters: Clara (Mrs. William O'Leary), Maureen (Mrs. Al Rose), Joan (Mrs. Ed Soper) and Judy Ryerson (Bernard Norman). Also left to cherish memories of a loving mother are her nine sons: Bill (Sheila), George (Olive), Albert (Clara), Joseph (Dorothy), Kevin (Judy) and Jerry, also daughter-in-law Brenda, all of Hamilton, Ontario, Jack (Peg), Wayne (Bev) and Terry (Justine). Agnes also leaves one dear sister, Margaret Powell and special niece Isabel and husband Jim Follett. As a grandmother she leaves 50 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; also a numerous amount of relatives and friends along with the tender and caring staff of Escasoni 2 North. COADY, Father Brian - Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness on September 3, 1994, age 38 years. Brian was born in St. John's; educated at St. Patrick's and Brother Rice Schools, then three years university. Brian went away in 1973 to St. Peter's Seminary where he studied for the priesthood. He served in four dioceses for the Province of Ontario, his last one being St. Theresa's Parish, Windsor, Ontario. Brian was dedicated to his work. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Mary Coady, living in St. John's; one aunt and uncle Frank and Eileen Coady and their family; also a large circle of cousins; he will also be missed by his fellow priests, both of Ontario and Nfld. Thank you to Mr. Michael Morey for his nursing care and loving support. COADY, Patrick Joseph - Died tragically at sea on Thursday, October 13th, 1994, Patrick Joseph Coady, Mayor Avenue, St. John's, in his 63rd year, originally from Bar Haven, Placentia Bay. Pat was loved and cherished by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth (nee Bonia) and his children: Patrick (Siobhan), Stephen (Tish), Paula (Denis, St. Pierre), Alphonsus (Paola, Sudbury, Ont) and Kimberly (friend Robert Whelan). He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren: Joseph, Christina, Stephanie, Laurie, Steven, Michael, Peter and Joseph; his brothers; Michael (friend Alice Brenton) in Ferndale, Anthony (Alice) in Moncton, N.B. and predeceased by Thomas (1981) (Elizabeth) in Dunville and sisters: Mary (Anthony Pomeroy, deceased in September 1994) in Kelligrews and Addie (Pete Bennett) in Ferndale, have not just lost a brother but a friend. He will be missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
