Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John's on Thursday September 14, 2017 Colin Michael Antle of Salt Pond, NL in his 40th year. Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories wife Amanda, parents Eugene and Josie Antle of Salt Pond, brother Dion (Tanya) of New Glasgow, NS, grandmother Blanche Myles of Salt Pond plus many other family and friends. Predeceased by grandparents Bert and Kitty Antle, grandfather Lester Myles. MASTERS, WAYNE
Passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, WAYNE MASTERS of Mooring Cove, formerly from Red Harbour, in his 63rd year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Phyllis and special dog Missy, brothers Bernard, Red Harbour, Ronald (Debra), Halifax, NS, brothers in law Gerald Maye (Gladys), Creston South, Chris Maye (Lily), Garden Cove, Scott Maye (Cynthia), Creston South, sisters in law Betty Dunphy (Wayne), Monkstown, Daphne Maye, Winnipeg, MB; Nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.\Wayne is predeceased by his parents George and Daisy Masters, parents in law Thomas and Harriet Maye, brothers in laws Donald and Barry Maye. Wayne was a Professional Fish Harvester and a long serving member of the FFAW - Unifor. He served on the Inshore Council and Executive Board representing Fish Harvesters on the West and South Coast of Newfoundland. He was a strong promoter of training and professionalization within the industry. Wayne was also involved with the Red Harbour community. He served on many committees and facilitated / assisted with many projects supporting community development and activities over the years.
