The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown
and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

BRUSHETT, REGINA MARGARET
(1944-2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late REGINA BRUSHETT of Marystown announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, on Monday, September 22, 2014, at the age of 69. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: husband, Lawrence of 43 years; sister, Susanna (John) Symes; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Ernest and Sarah Kelly and brother, Edward Kelly. Resting and visitation will take place from Wiseman's Funeral Home in Marystown, on Tuesday, September 23, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, September 25, at 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. It is with great sadness that the family of the late ROBERT H. COADY of Jean de Baie announces his passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, on Monday, September 29, 2014, at the age of 48. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are parents, Bill and Joan Coady of Jean de Baie; brothers, Calvin (Pam) Coady of Jean de Baie and Brent (Marsha) Coady of Witless Bay; sister, Corina (Derrick) Walsh of St. John's; nieces, Melissa, Natalie, Olivia, Danielle and Isabella; nephews, Christopher and Dylan; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents, Robert and Madeline Coady and Harry and Philomena Lambe; uncles, Thomas Coady, Joe Lambe and Rick Lambe. Cremation has taken place. Gone to her eternal rest at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, Valerie Mary Edwards aged 70, of Lawn. Welcoming her arrival in Heaven are her three infants, Dwayne, Michelle and Joseph; her parents, Leo and Loretta; her four siblings, Ellen Mary, Joseph, Doris, and Ruth; her sister-in-law, Sheila and nephew, Josh; special uncle, Donald Edwards, and special aunt, Sarah Jarvis. She leaves to mourn her children, Lilly (Marlon) Quirke, Brent Fitzpatrick, Glenda Fitzpatrick and Loretta Fitzpatrick (Bernie Timmons); her eleven grandchildren: Justin and Jason Quirke, Holly, Tyler and Ryan Kelly, Jeremy and Jeffrey Vickers, B. HARRIS, Effie Florence
(September 21, 1926 - September 22, 2014)

Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 22, 2014, at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre, Florence (Pardy) Harris of Jacques Fontaine, aged 88 years. Predeceased by husband Samuel Harris; parents Joseph and Stella (Johnson) Pardy; brothers Gordon, Max, Joe, and Clayton; and sisters Winnie and Sarah. Leaving to mourn a much-loved family including six children residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Newfoundland: Lloyd (Marina) Harris, Sandra (Wils) Miller, Christine (Paul) Hyland, Debbie Banfield, Judy (Craig) Chiddenton, and Paul (Mandy) Harris; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; as well as brother-in-law Eli (Molly) Harris and a large circle of nieces and nephews, relatives, and family friends. Remains resting at St. Paul's Anglican Church Jacques Fontaine on Wednesday September 23rd, and Thursday September 24th. Funeral services to be conducted by Reverend Blackwood, at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine, on September 26, at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery. The family will gratefully accept flowers, or donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church. A heartfelt thank-you to those who have sent messages of condolences during this sad time. Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on September 2, 2014 Mrs. Alma Hepditch of Lamaline in her 81st year. Predeceased by husband William, son Bill, father and mother Leo and Claire, son-in-law Marcel Stacey, grand son Christopher Stacey and brothers Austin and Gilis Bonnell.
