Burin Peninsula Obituaries
September 2011

The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour.
All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

MALLAY, JESSIE "PAULINE"
1962-2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late JESSIE "PAULINE" MALLAY of Marystown, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the age of 49. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Michael of 22 years; Mother Jessie; Son Jonathon of Marystown; Daughters Rhonda Farrell (Allen) of Marystown and Pamela of Marystown; Sisters Evelyn Melendy (Nowell), Frances Farewell, Nora Stacey (Alfred), Barbara Follett (Roy), and Sharon Hillier (Wayne); Brothers Calvin Hodder, John (Shirley) Hodder, Albert (Ella) Hodder; Grandchildren Aiden and Michael Farrell; Brothers-in-law John (Helen) Mallay, Gerald (Joyce) Mallay, and Al (Stacey) Mallay; Sisters-in-law Geraldine Hodder, Violet Hodder and Gladys (Chris) Inkpen; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by Father Josiah, Brothers Eugene and Samuel, Niece Shelley Farewell, and Brother-in-law Harvey Farewell. Resting and Visitation to take place at Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown at a date and time to be announced. Funeral Service will take place at a date and time to be announced from St. Peter's Anglican Church in Rock Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery in Rock Harbour. In Pauline's memory, donations may be to the Mallay Family or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman's Funeral Homes.
