The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on September 25, 2010, Lloyd Anstey of Garnish age 79 years. Leaving to mourn wife Alice ; daughters Leta Galea (Robert) of Ajax, Ontario, Valerie Pretty (Ken) of Ottawa and Angeline Legge (Wilbert) of Garnish ; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; stepchildren Darrel Slaney of Kingston, NS, Barry Slaney (Michelle) of St. John's, James Slaney of Newport, NS, Derrick Slaney of Halifax, NS, Bonnie Edwards (Isadore) of Garnish and Nancy Hannah (Kyle) of Fort Worth, Texas; sister Gloria Douglas (Steve) of Garnish plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by first wife Eliza Jane. Funeral Service took place from United Church, Garnish Tuesday, September 28th with interment following at United Church Cemetery, Garnish. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to United Church Building Fund, Garnish.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late ANN MARIE BOLT of Terrenceville announces her passing at her home in Terrenceville on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at the age of 53. Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, Sunday, September 19, 2010, Florrie Hillier age 77 years. Predeceased by husband Richard and parents John and Elizabeth Jackman. Leaving to mourn sons Carl (Marilyn) and Kevin (Rowena); grandchildren Robin (Jeff), Cindy, Austin and Eric; special nephew Wilson Barnes (Phyllis) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Passed suddenly away as a result of a tragic accident near Golden Sands Resort, Burin, NL, on Monday, Sept. 06, 2010, TERRY SHELDON MAYO, of Creston South, in his 15th year. Leaving to mourn his loving parents Terry and Darlene Mayo, Creston South, sister Mandy Mayo, his dogs Maddison & Harley, special friends Cassie Fitzpatrick and Kyle Poulain, his grandmothers Joan Mayo, Creston South, and Marie Cleal, Lewin's Cove; aunts and uncles Debbie Cleal Udell and family, John Cleal and family, Pauline Cleal and family, Goldie Baird and family, Linda Rogers and family, Betty Loveless and family, Max Mayo Jr. and family, Randy Mayo and family, Ruby Hoskins and family, Kim Mayo (Craig Wallace); and a large circle of relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his grandfathers Max Mayo Sr., John Cleal Sr., and cousins Dwayne Rogers, Todd Harfitt, and Karen Cleal. Predeceased by parents John Ben and Jemima Rideout; son George, brothers Arch, Eli and Raymond; sisters Gertie, Bridgette and Emma. Leaving to mourn: daughters Margaret Green (Harry), Ann Boland (Lewis), Alice Green (Leonard), Tracey Rideout (Claude); sons Sam (Ann), Gerald (Peggy), Ronnie (Wanda); 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Wednesday, FAMILY ONLY from 7 pm - 9 pm, then on Thursday from 10 am - 12 noon; 2 pm - 4 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm, and on Friday from 10 am - 12 noon.
