It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jerry (Gerard Calvin) Aylward, of St. Lawrence announces his passing on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Health Science Center, CICU aged 60 years. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Lillian (nee Murphy) Aylward, father-in-law Clarence Gallant and brother-in-law Danny. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife Suzanne (nee Gallant) and daughter Samantha, who were his world. Also leaving to mourn siblings; Pat, Derrick (Brenda Lawlor), Diane (Jeff Curtis), Paula (Stephen Hanley), Calvin and nephew Jacob, as well as brother in laws; Allan, Terry (Louise), Andy (Lena), Clarence (Joyce), sister-in-laws; Louise (Pierre); Anne and a treasured circle of nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends. There have been numerous Health Care Professional involved in Jerry's care over the years. The family would like to acknowledge the personal touches and compassion they provided Jerry and his family. Jerry was an active member in his home town of St. Lawrence. A long time member of the Lions Club, Jerry served as president of the local club for several years and played an instrumental part in funding raising initiatives for the playground and many other key causes in the community. Jerry operated the Mini Mart for over 30 years where he greeted his customers with a smile and chat upon arrival. He has no doubt left an indelible mark on the lives of many. Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on October 20, 2017, Reginald E. G. Grandy, aged 94. Left with cherished memories, his wife of 66 years, Betty Grandy (nee Bugden); daughters, Judy (Bill) Finn, Shirley (Geoff) Wright, and Elizabeth (Raymond) Cook; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends. Reg was a long time member and sidesman of St. Mary's Church. At the age of 65, he retired after a fulfilling career with the Canadian National Railway. Cremation has taken place.
