The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

ANTLE-BROWN, Emily
(August 19, 1941- October 20, 2012)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emily Catherine Antle-Brown of Mortier announce her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on October 20, 2012, at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Michael; sons Michael Jr. (Tammy) and Darryl (Jennifer); grandchildren Noah and Vivian; sisters Madeline Debartolo (Luigi); brother Patrick Antle (Myrna) plus many other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Margaret and Alphonsus; sisters Winnie, Dorothy and Annie and brother William. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Monday at 10 AM to 9 PM. Cremation to take place. BONNELL of Marystown, NL announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Kathleen of 57 years; sons Gerard (Rose) of Marystown, Clyde (Katie) of Marystown, Tom (Beverley) of Marystown, and Gerald (Kimberly) of Winterland; daughters Theresa Walsh of Dartmouth, NS, Elizabeth Hodder (George) of Marystown, Loretta Miller (James) of Marystown, Carmelita Walters of Marystown, Mary Bonnell Warren (Randy) of Brooks, AB, and Lisa Badcock (Sean) of Greenwood, NS; 26 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by parents Robert & Elizabeth Bonnell; brothers Benjamin, Ernest & James Bonnell; and son-in-law Michael Walsh. Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman's Funeral Homes in Marystown on Sunday October 14th from 3 pm - 9 pm, and Monday October 15th from 10 am - 9 pm. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Jim (Cecilia), Roy (Thyphena), Phil, Tom, Ray and Andre (Marjorie) all of Fortune; daughters Mary (Charles) Dominix, Louisa (Hedley) Hillier, and Mercedes (Fred) Caines all of Fortune; sisters-in-law Louisa Dunne, and Lucy Caines; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by husband James; sons Thomas & Michael; daughter Margaret; grandson Rodney Hillier; great-granddaughter Caitlyn Caines. Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, Greta Clarke of Grand Bank, age 93 years. Predeceased by parents Jacob & Dinah Barnes; husband Leo, sisters Muriel and Jenny and brother George. Leaving to mourn, daughters Marjorie (Allan) Strowbridge, Betty (Frazer) Legge, Joyce (Lance) Chafe, Nora (John) Mossop; sons Celestine (Dorothy) Clarke, George (Marion) Clarke. Also a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm; 2 pm - 4 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday at 2:30 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. (August 6, 1933 - October 13, 2012)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mona Cluett of Garnish announce her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years, Marjorie; children Jerry (Kaye) Moulton of Greenwood, NS, Nadine Croucher of Burin Bay Arm, Beth (Dave) Pardy of Bible Hill, NS, Allan of Paradise, Janice Moulton (Paul Keizer) of Lower Sackville, NS, Cynthia Hollett (Doug) of Marystown, Joy Colbourne (Shawn) of Springdale, Dawn Oldford (Terry) of Burin Bay Arm; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Clayton was the last surviving member of his immediate family, and was predeceased by son-in-law Norman Croucher. No flowers by request.
