The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

ADAMS, Lyma
(May 31, 1927 - November 22, 2015)

It is with great sadness the family of Lyma Adams of Burin announces her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on November 22, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond loving husband Cyril; daughter Cindy (Peter O'Brien) of Toronto; son Karl Adams (Marie) of Fort Nelson, BC; grandsons William O'Brien (Elizabeth); granddaughter Sara (Darryl Silva); great grandson Robert Peter O'Brien; sister Winnie Sparkes; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by sister Helen Adams. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Tuesday, November 24th at 10-12pm and 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service to take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin Wednesday, November 25th at 2pm with cremation to follow. No flowers by request. BOLT, Charles
It is with great sadness that the family of the late CHARLES BOLT of Grand Le Pierre announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on November 6th, 2015, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Lloyd (Mary) of Marystown, Hubert (Karen) of Grand Le Pierre & Dean of Grand Le Pierre; daughters, Phyllis Hackett (Manuel) of St. Bernard's, Velma King (Steve) of Lamaline, Joan Banfield (Howard) of St. Bernard's, Wanda Hack (Mike) of Brooks, AB & Elsie Bolt (Jerry Drake) of Rushoon; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. (1924-2015)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved James Ducey of Cambridge, ON (formerly of Marystown, NL) on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Loving husband of Ailsa Ducey (deceased November 1, 2013); beloved father of Noreen Winkler (Walter) and Joe (Denise); cherished grandfather of Eliot, Melissa, Ryan and Alexandra. Also leaving to mourn his sister, Lizeta Fitzpatrick and sisters-in-law, Jessie Kirby and Bride Ducey; plus a large number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Mary (Slaney) and William Ducey; brothers: Hughie (Evelyn), Michael, William (Stella), Aloysius and Joseph; sisters: Rosanna (John J. Leaving to mourn daughters Dona Legge (Don) of Garnish; Barbara Drake (Fred) of Little St. Lawrence; Christine Foote of St. John's and Cindy Stacey (Andy) of Lewin's Cove; sons Eldon (Cathy) of Lab City and Gary (Annette) of Lewin's Cove; son in law Dennis Gosling of Little Bay; 22 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sisters Georgina Strickland (Harvey) of Lewin's Cove and Gwen Hollett (Paul) of Epworth plus a large circle of other family and friends. HILLIER, William John
(March 15, 1932 - November 18, 2015)
In loving memory of William (Jack) Hillier, born March 15, 1932. Beloved husband of the late Carmelita Hillier. Passed away peacefully at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Wednesday November 18, 2015, at the age of 83. Left with fond and loving memories are his 2 daughters; Cathy, and Irene, and 2 sons; Bill and Frank. Devoted grandfather to; David, Vito, Anthony, Amanda, Billy, and Sandra, also loving great grandfather to; Amelia, Sophia, and Olivia. Remembered by his sons-in law; Vito, and Frank, daughters-in-law; Joanne, and Catherine. Brother Manuel ( Edith). Will be sincerely missed by his companion Mathilda Fitzpatrick and the Fitzpatrick Family. Predeceased by his father; Brethel Holloway, mother and father-in-law; Stella and Robert Matthews. Leaving to mourn; wife; Roberta of 47 years. 1 son; David (Monique), 2 daughters; Kelly (Terry), Jeanie (Colin). 6 grandchildren; Tanisha (Graham), Zachary (Stephanie), Kimberley, Kiana, Tori, and Tamara. 2 great grandchildren; Jayden, and Jorja, plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. It is with great sadness that the family of Mildred Rose Inkpen (Pike) announces her passing. She passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, St. Johns on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in the presence of her loving family, at age 73. Predeceased by her parents Howard & Jessie Pike; and brother-in-law Clarence (Lillian). Leaving to mourn two sons; Eugene (Joan), Fred (Geneva), five grandsons; Andrew (Mary Ellen), Steven (Melissa), Timothy (Laura), Peter (Karen), Trent (Angela), Seven great grandchildren; Hayden, Bren, Jenna, Christopher, Lindsey, Bradley, and Brody.
