and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

ANSTEY, Gordon Bruce
(September 20, 1952 - November 4, 2014)
Passed peacefully away at A A Wilkinson Memorial Hospital on Tuesday November 4, 2014 Gordon Anstey of Hant's Harbour (formerly Grand Bank), aged 62 years.Predeceased by brother Allen, and sisters Betty Smith, and Emma Rideout. Leaving to mourn siblings Harvey, Tom (Maude), Bob (Barb), Lena Peach (Eric), Bertha Bennett (Frank) and Lucy Tuck (Clyde), his companion Ruby Green, her son Roger, and members of her family. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place.Visitation will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton, on Thursday Nov 6 from 2 -9 pm. (1918-2014)

Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge, St John's on November 23, 2014, NELLIE JANES BARNES of Garnish, at the age of 96. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Evangeline Marsh, sisters Ivy and Amelia and brother Allan, daughter Mabel and first husband, George Newport. (1923-2014)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving father, ERNEST JOSEPH BROCKERVILLE SR. of Lawn at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Monday, November 10, 2014, at the age of 91. Ernest will be lovingly remembered by his five sons Ed (Monica), Ernie (Lyn), Pad (Jackie), Glen (Bernice) and Frank (Claudia); five daughters Mary (Lou), Esther (Freeman), Kay (Joe), Ann (Clum) and Holly; brother Howard; sisters Hilda and Lenora; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, sons Herb and Harold, and daughter Lenora. His joy of life was evident in his hearty laugh, his love of telling a "yarn" of years gone by, and his powerful singing voice echoing his good moods.
