It is with great sadness that the family of The Late LISA BISHOP of Fortune announces her passing at her home in Fortune on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 50. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Fred of 23 years; sons, David Piercey of St. John's, Tyler Bishop (Amanda) of St. John's; sisters Geraldine Piercey, Trina Skinner (Rod Brady) & Kim Boland; brothers, Edgar Piercey (Denise) & Lorne Piercey; mother Olive Piercey; 2 grandchildren, Claire Bishop & Chase Piercey; sisters-in-law, Emily Bishop, Marion Strowbridge (Gordon) & Barbara Harris (Ken); brothers-in-law Eric Bishop (Susan) & Dave Bishop (Agnes) plus a large circle of extended family and friends. BISHOP, WILLAM JAMES
1926-2020

It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of WILLIAM BISHOP in the arms of his loving daughter Debbie at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the age of 94. Bill was formerly of Red Harbour, Placentia Bay and lived in Paradise for the past 21 years. He lived a wonderful fulfilled life and enjoyed every minute. Predeceased by his wife Mabel (1999), parents Charles and Irene Bishop, stepbrother Reg Bishop and stepsister Violet Jarvis. Survived by daughter Debbie Lynch (Terry), special friend Nina March and her family, sister Ethel Carmanville, niece Jean Bartlett (Howard), nephew Albert Senior (Hilda), nephews Bill Jarvis (Norma) and James Bishop (Doreen), 50 Plus Club friends in Paradise, which was a big part of Bill's life. Special thanks to his family physician, Dr. Matthew Greening and Dr. Duffy and the Palliative Care Team at the PCU. Due to the current Public Health Advisory of Covid-19, a private family service will take place in St. John's, and interment will take place in Winterland. PAUL, ETHAN
It is with broken hearts that the family of ETHAN PAUL of St. John's announces his sudden passing on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the age of 15. Ethan was a valued member of the 508 Caribou Air Cadet Squadron, 1st St. John's East Ventures, volunteer lifeguard with the City of St. John's and completing the Bronze Medallion of the Duke of Edinburg Award. POWER, BRIAN B.
1960-2020

It is with deep sadness that the family of the late BRIAN B. POWER of Burin announces his passing. Brian passed away at the Marystown Retirement Centre on Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sisters, Rose Power of St. John's, Carol Hedd (Gerald) of Mount Pearl, Leona Blackmore of Grand Falls - Windsor, and Paula Power of Red Deer, AB; brothers, Frank Power (Lucy) of Barry, ON, and Jerry Power (Laura) of Burin; plus a large number of extended family and friends.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, Paul & Bride Power; and brothers-in-law, Joseph Blackmore and Ira Gould. The Power family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Marystown Retirement Centre for the exceptional care given to their brother Brian during his stay. SHEPPARD, JAMES
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late JAMES SHEPPARD of Bay L'Argent announces his passing. James passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the age of 87. Forever loved and missed by his wife Matilda (Tilly) of 57 years; daughters, Judy (Bruce) and Colleen (Jerome); 3 grandchildren, Justin (Betsy), April (Andrew) and Nicole (Luke); 6 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Maddox, Violet, Haylee, Gabriella, and Hyland; also left to mourn are his brother, Alexander; sister, Lillian (James); plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. James was predeceased by his parents, Alexander (Sandy) and Mary Ann (Minnie); brother, Henry; and sister, Lorna. A big thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center for taking such good care of him and for being so kind and helpful to family members over the last few weeks.
