(1948-2016)
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late RON AYLWARD of Marystown announces his passing at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, ON, on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Dorothy of 44 years; son Danny (Amy) Aylward of Marystown; daughters Rhonda (Gilberto) Florez of Madrid, Spain, and Rhoda (Frederico) Marques of Toronto, ON; 5 grandchildren Jessica, Carson, Sofia, Clara and Chloe; 2 step-grandchildren Maria Luisa and Mariana; sisters Barbara Aylward, Peg (Stephen) Healey, Patricia Kieley, Gwen Maguire, Judy (John) Gorich, Madelyn (Bill) Kelly and Joan (Willis) Upshall; brother Gordon Aylward; sister-in-law Gail Aylward; and a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Maude Aylward; granddaughter Gabriela Marques; brother Brian Aylward; and his two loving companions Canso and Benji. Ron was a dedicated family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He adored his family and was a pillar of strength for those who loved him. Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 Max Baker in his 83 year. Predeceased by Parents Arthur and Florence Baker. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Jessie of 58 years; sons Harold of St. John's, Arthur (Donna) of Grand Bank; Daughter Maxine (Bruce) of Grand Bank; grandchildren Stephanie (Donny) of C.B.S, Jessica (Shane) of C.B.S, Dylan (Nickita) of Fortune, Rebecca (Kyle) of Grand Bank; 2 precious great-grandchildren whom he thought the world of Reegan and Makynlee. Leaving to mourn her children, Cyril (Patsy), Adrian (Colleen), Lucille, Hugh (Pam), Arden (June) and Ellen (Charlie); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and lifetime friends and neighbours in St. Lawrence.
