The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

(June 14, 1948 - May 12, 2009)

Passed away suddenly at this residence on Tuesday May 12, 2009 Seward Bartlett of Grand Bank, age 60 years. Predeceased by father Isaac Bartlett, father and mother in law Walterfield and Florence Green. Leaving to mourn wife Brenda at Grand Bank, sons Troy (Angela) at Regina, Sask,Terry (Lynn) at Lower Sackville N.S. Trevor (Tina) Victoria B.C. five grandchildren Matthew, Tanner, Madison, Cayden and Vittoria, mother Mary Bartlett at Grand Bank, brother Wayne (Marion) Dartmouth N.S. Sisters Frances Durnford (Newman) Seal Cove, Conception Bay, Kathleen Keeping (Clyde) at Grand Bank, Gloria Harris (Frank) at Mount Pearl, Wanda Jackman (Peter) at Winnipeg, Rhoda Rose (Bruce) at Grand Bank, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home. Visitation hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 2 pm -5 pm, 7 pm -9 pm. Funeral service from Saint Alban's Anglican Church on Saturday at 1 pm. COLLINS, Elizabeth M.
Passed peacefully away at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre St. Lawrence on Saturday May 30, 2009, Elizabeth M. Collins of Lawn in her 84th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories a very special nephew Joe (Violet) Tarrant of Labrador City; sisters Anna Contois of Florida and Louise Hendrickson of Colorado; brother James (Katherine) Tarrant of Kilbride; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Andrew, and brothers Isadore, Charles, Pat and Joseph. Resting and Visitation to take place from Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church in Lawn on Saturday May 30th from 5pm - 10pm; and Sunday May 31st from 11am - 10pm. Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church in Lawn on Monday June 1, 2009 at 2:00pm. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Stachia Ducey of Marystown; mother Susanna Ducey of Marystown; sisters Bernice (Don) Anderson, Jennie Tuff, Dianne (Alex) Holley, Brenda (Norm) Walsh, Laura (Dave) Power, Mary Ducey and Janet (Larry) Perry; sister-in-law Sonya Ducey; brothers Wayne Ducey, Felix Ducey and Con Ducey (Christine Evans); granddaughter Shawna; 30 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and great nephews; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by father James Ducey, brother Randy Ducey and brother-in-law William Tuff. Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday May 27, 2009, Tryphena Holly of Garnish in her 76th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Alex (Diane) of Marystown, Lester (Carmelita) of Mooring Cove, and Samuel (Jane) of Garnish; daughters Beatrice (Philip) Fizzard of Garnish, Sandra (Ray) Nolan of Mooring Cove, Wanda (Glen) Kelly of Mooring Cove, Sheila (Alvin) Lundrigan of Burin, and Annie Holly of Garnish; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by husband Clayton and daughter Juanita. Resting and Visitation to take place from St. Giles Anglican Church in Garnish on Wednesday May 27th from 7pm - 9pm; Thursday May 28th from 10am - 9pm; and Friday May 29th from 10am - 12noon. HYNES, Blanche T
(March 31, 1920 - May 9, 2009)

Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex on Saturday April 9, 2009, Blanche Hynes of Grand Beach age 89 years. Predeceased by parents William and Agnes Follett, Sisters Irene Hoben and Lionel, Anne Follett, Jessie Baker; brothers Harold Follett, Clarence, wife Mary, Garfield Follett. Leaving to mourn, son Garry, wife Wendy at British Columbia, grandchildren, Chris, Shaunna and Kelsey. Sister Valetta Inkpen, husband Arnold at Grand Beach, William Follett at St Lawrence, sister-in-law Minnie Follett, brother-in-law Marion Baker, also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thank you to all her friends at Marystown who respected her with love and care. Remains resting at Warren's funeral Home Grand Bank on Monday May 11, 2009. Passed suddenly away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Saturday, May 30, 2009 Lloyd Locke of Burin in his 50th year. Leaving to mourn brother David Locke and wife Eleanor of Marystown, sisters Patricia Fiocchi of St. Catherine's Ontario, Joan Power and husband Anthony of St. Catherine's Ontario, Jean Pomeroy and husband Jerry of Bermuda, Madonna Walsh and husband Brian of Marystown, Laura Taylor and husband Lonnie of Burin, Sherry Lynn Locke and husband Rick of Burin; 9 nieces and 11 nephews plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Norman and Ruby Locke, brother Frank Locke and sister Doris Keats. Pre-deceased by her husband Ernest Molly. MOULTON, Constable Colin James
Constable Colin James Moulton
died tragically May 6, 2009. Colin is predeceased by William & Magdalene Coady (Nan & Pop) and Nina Moulton (Nan). Colin is survived by his fiance Jenifer Henry. Parents Randy and Bridget Moulton, Clayton Moulton (Pop), brother and sister-in-law Barry and Tina Moulton, beloved sons Jared and Chance, many aunts and uncles, and a large circle of family and friends. Colin was a well respected and proud RCMP officer, a loving father, a caring fiancé, a beloved son, brother and friend. He found his calling in life when he joined the RCMP in 2003. He was a fair and just member who took pride in his job. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, working on his beloved orange mustang and spending good times with family and friends. Colin was to marry his best friend and love of his life, Jenifer, on August 29, 2009. Colin had an eternal love for his place of birth, Newfoundland. He was a proud "Newfie." He will be eternally be missed by those lives he touched in his short time on earth personally and professionally. We love you and miss you deeply forever. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for his two sons Jared and chance at the Bank Of Nova Scotia Funeral visitation time will be announced at a later date.

Leaving to mourn wife Jessie; mother Carrie Mae; son Rodney and wife Kelly of Yellowknife, Northwest territories; daughters Karen of Burin and Kimberley of Brampton, Ont; grandchildren Jescinda and Morgan; sisters Brenda (Edgar White) of Burin, Phyllis (Greg) of Milton, Ont, Kathleen (Jim Kirby) of Burin, Kay (Charlie Antle) of Burin, Leona of Burin, Shirley (Bill Clarke) of Catalina; brothers Bill (Sharon Noseworthy) of Burin, Roy (Cora Noseworthy) of Catalina, Glen (Brenda Noseworthy) of Brampton, Ont, Chris (Georgina Noseworthy) of Burin; special friends Alvin and Bonnie Roff plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Hannah, son George, son in law Fillmore Daya, sisters Bessie, Marjorie and Kay.
