The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

DOMINAUX, MARY
1927-2012
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Dominaux of Bay L'Argent announces her passing at St. Patrick's Mercy Home in St. John's on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Randell (Dorothy) of Daniel's Harbour, Cecil (Eileen) of Brig Bay and Charles (Barbara) of Bay L'Argent; daughter Rennie Herridge (Howard) of St. John's; sisters Lisa Palaro (Gene) of Saugus, Massachusetts, Biney Hodder (Doug) of St. Bernard's, Marion Banfield (Melvin) of Mt. Pearl and Gloria Osbourne (Keith) of Little Bay East; brothers Freeman, Norman and Iram; step mother Maisie Dominaux; 7 grandchildren Doreen (Chris), Glen (Karen), Marilyn (Nelson), Joshua, Justin (Mari), Robert and Marcus; 3 great-grandchildren Emily, Riley and Liam; nieces and nephews plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by husband Wilson; brothers Harvey, Randell and Charles Dominaux; and parents Randell & Julie Ann. Resting and visitation to take place at St. Hilda's Anglican Church in Bay L'Argent on Thursday March 15th from 7 pm, Friday, March 16th all day and Saturday March 17th from 10 am. Funeral service will take place on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Bay L'Argent. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Elsie of 59 years; Sons Morgan Edwards (Dallas) of Houston, BC, John of St. Lawrence and Charlie of Mortier; Daughters Tracey Slaney (Wade) of St. Lawrence and Emma Beck (Holgar) of Springdale; Brothers Clarence of Ontario; 11 Grandchildren Trevor, Larry, Ian, Joel, Vanessa, Logan, Lacey, Colten, Brandon, Matthew and Jill; 5 Great-Grandchildren Tyler, Julianne, Jenilee, Austin and Madison; Plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Daughter Evelyn; Brothers Pat, Clayton and Greg; Sisters Stella, Esther and Marg. Passed peacefully away at her residence at Lamaline on Saturday March 10,2012 Ethel May Hillier, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents, Allan & Janet Cake, brothers, James & Alfred, sisters, Edith, Vera, Beth, Daisy, & Nellie,& great granddaughter, Alyssa Angel Stacey. Leaving to mourn: husband Fred, sons, Junior & spouse Sheila; Frank & Wife Rowena; Gary & Wife Kathy; Perry & Wife Tina; & Terry & Wife Theresa all at Lamaline; daughter Linda & husband Mike at St.John's; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Rita Pike at St.Lawrence. Passed peacefully away at her residence in Grand Bank on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, Emily Hyde, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband Alvin, daughter Amy, son Roger, son-in-law Gord, mother & father Emmie & James Russell, and brothers Edward, Sam & Tom. Leaving to mourn: son Eddie (Meta), daughters Edna Smith (Albert), Helen Savoury, Juanita Rose (Gordie),son-in-law Roy Ledrew, and daughter-in-law Marie Hyde; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Bessie, brothers Raymond (June), Herman (Daphne); sisters-in-law Clara Russell & Rose Russell, plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Wednesday & Thursday from 10 am - 12 pm; 2 pm - 4 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm. Date and time of funeral service to be announced later.
