It is with great sadness that the family of the late JULIA BAKER of Marystown announces her passing at the US Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday March 31, 2011 at the age of 98. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Leonard (Orion), Kevin (Bridget), Tom (Carol), Jim (Theresa), and Vince (Dot); Daughters Bride (Hughie) Mitchell, Alice (Ray) Murphy, Patricia (John) Norman, and Judy (Bob) Drake; a large number of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Special Niece Sister Mary Kelly; a large number of nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of family and friends. Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care on Friday, March 18, 2011, Arthur Barnes of Harbour Mille in his 82nd year. Predeceased by father Roy, mother Susie, sister Lucy, and nephew Thomas. Leaving to mourn: Wife Josephine; Son Donald (Ada) of Harbour Mille, Daughters Lucy Rose (Reginald) of Stephenville, Barbara Grimes (Wayne) of Fall River, Nova Scotia; brothers Reginald (Barbara) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Stanley (Marie) of Clarenville, sister Marion Scott (Cecil) of Harbour Mille, 4 grandchildren: Connie and Steven Barnes, and Glenn and Shawn Rose, 1 great-grandson Jacob Rose.
