FIANDER, PHYLLIS

She was involved with the life of the church in different communities in different roles, those of a junior choir leader, a member of the senior choir, and as a Sunday School teacher and president of the ACW. She loved to go camping during summer holidays, especially in Notre Dame Provincial Park, and in later years she really enjoyed days and nights spent at the cabin at Grouse. Unfortunately, in later years she has been dealing with Alzheimer's and for three years before she went to St. Luke's her husband, with some help and unselfish love, took care of her every need for those three years.
