Passed Peacefully away at the Health Science on Saturday, June 7th William G Banfield of Garnish,age 80 years.Predeceased by Parents Gabriel and Blanche. Shortly after her 82nd birthday at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, she answered the call to go to her heavenly home. Predeceased by husband, George H. Brushett, sisters Major Hannah Darby, Beatrice Fillier, and Lexie Noseworthy, and brother Major Enos Darby. Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday June 25, 2008, Agnes Slaney of Marystown formerly of St. Lawrence in her 92nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Sister Priscilla Turpin plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Predeceased by Husband Clem, Parents Celestine and Ellen Tarrant, 5 Brothers Patrick, Harry, Joseph, Thomas, and Cyril and Sister Elizabeth. Resting and Visitation to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church in St. Lawrence on Thursday June 26th from 7 pm to 9 pm, Friday June 27th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Saturday June 28, 2008 from 10 am to 12 pm. Vigil to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church on Friday Evening. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C.
