Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday June 25, 2008, Agnes Slaney of Marystown formerly of St. Lawrence in her 92^nd year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Sister Priscilla Turpin plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Predeceased by Husband Clem, Parents Celestine and Ellen Tarrant, 5 Brothers Patrick, Harry, Joseph, Thomas, and Cyril and Sister Elizabeth. Resting and Visitation to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church in St. Lawrence on Thursday June 26^th from 7 pm to 9 pm, Friday June 27^th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Saturday June 28, 2008 from 10 am to 12 pm.
