Brockerville of Lawn announces her passing at The U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Thursday, July 10th, 2014, at the age of 91. Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on Wednesday July 16, 2014 Charles M. Grandy of Fortune age 59 years. Predeceased by parents Morgan and Lucy Grandy, and father-in-law John R. Caines. Leaving to mourn; wife Marie, and daughter Alicia, mother-in- law Lucy Caines. 4 brothers; Cyril (Judy), Lloyd (Mary), Ralph (Bertha), Joe (Mary), 2 sisters Gloria (Gord), Susan (Charles), 3 brothers-in law; Rennie (Ada), John (Joan), Tony (Geneva), 3 sisters-in law; Maisie (Andre), Shelia (Wayne), and Karen (Claude). Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett, Rev.Lochleigh Fiander, and Rev Joan Brinston on Friday July 18, 2014 at 2 pm from All Saint's Anglican Church Fortune. Organist was Henrietta Pope. (November 12, 1938 - July 25, 2014)

It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Marie Grant of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 75 on July 25, 2014. Leaving to mourn sisters Bride Rose, Mary Stapleton, Kay Neville, Violet Clarke and Theresa Fagan; sisters in law Rita Grant and Marie Grant. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends.
