AYRES, GARY JEROME (1965-2015) It is with great sadness that the family of the late GARY AYRES of Fortune announces his passing at the Grand Bank Health Care Centre in Grand Bank, on Friday, February 20, 2015, at the age of 49. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sisters, Sharon Ayres of St. John's and Ella Ayres of Marystown; brothers, Willis Ayres (Cecilia) of North Sydney, Robert Ayres (Laura) of Fortune, Travis Ayres (Denine) of Grand Falls and Jody Ayres (Kayla) of Fortune; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Eli and Irene Ayres; brothers, Cecil and Barry. Leaving to mourn son Wayne (Christine) of Burin and daughter Ruby Stevenson (Robert Louis) of Outer Cove; grandchildren Brent, Perry, Justin and Robyn; 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband Harold; brothers Jack and Fred Moulton and sisters Phyllis and Ann. Dates and time of funeral and visitation to be announced. COOMBS, Dora
(September 18, 1946 - February 4, 2015)

Surrounded by immediate family after a short battle with cancer Dora Coombs a Grand Bank resident passed away at Burin Hospital, February 4, 2015. Surviving are beloved husband William of 51 years, daughters Debra (Clinton) Grandy, Joanne (Dan) Thornhill and son Bradford. Grandchildren Kirk, Colton, Kira, Kyle, and Caitlyn. As Dora's request Cremation has taken place. Dora will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home Grand Bank.

(1933-2015)

HILLIER, Ina (June 8, 1924 - February 14, 2015) Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the age of 90. Loving Mother to John, Harold, Edith, Cecil, Stan, Myrtle, Amelia and Larry, and adoring sister to Bill, Elsie, Verena and Freeman. Predeceased by her parents William and Catherine, husband Launcelot, brothers Fred, Clyde, John, Gerald and Stan, sisters Edith and Emma, and son Claude. Also eaving to mourn 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family and friends. It is with great gratitude that the family give thanks to the staff of Scarborough General Hospital. Also a special thanks to Guildwood Nursing Home for their constant care of Ina, and a very special thanks to Ina's favourite nurse Doreen. Passed peacefully away at The Masonic Park Home on Thursday, February 5, 2015, Rose H. Nicholle R.N. in her 95th year. Former Director of the School of Nursing at The General Hospital. Predeceased by her father John Nicholle and mother Emeline Nicholle (nee Lake); brother Ted Nicholle (Jessie); sisters: Emma Button (Clarence) and Hattie Nicholle. Left to celebrate her life with fond and loving memories are her nieces and nephews: Clarence Button (Catherine) and their children: Christopher and Cait; John Button (Carol) and their children: Jennifer and Nicholas; Susan Walsh (Peter Stevenson) and their children: Amanda Peddle (Gerald) and Allison Walsh (Andy McGrath); Dr. Cheryl Button (Dr. Jordan Herst) and their children: Matthew and Sarah; Peggy O'Keefe (Craig) and their children: Zachary and Joshua; also left with fond memories are the many former students and nursing colleagues at the General Hospital School of Nursing. Leaving to mourn sons Calvin (Trudy) of Burin Bay Arm and Darryl (Prissie) of Pasadena; daughters Trudy Brenton (Henry) of Burin, Rhoda Brushett (Eric) of Burin and Doreen Taylor (Marcella) of St. John's, many grandchildren and great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends. It is with great sadness the family of the late Keith Walter Wagg of Lewin's cove announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on February 12, 2015 age 68 years. Leaving to morn wife Ann, daughters Rhoda Wagg and Cosmo (Terpstra) of Lewin's Cove, Tammy Medhi and Tushar of Amherst NS. Three treasured grandsons Cameron and Cole Terpstra of Lewin's cove and Simon Medhi of Amherst NS. One brother Jerry Wagg and Ruth of Burin, two sisters Gloria Smith and Lloyd of Lewin's Cove and Muriel Kirby and Gerry of Topsail, brothers in law George Withers and Pauline of Portugal Cove, Wallace Withers of Creston South, sisters in law Elizabeth Stone and Lester of Creston South, sister in law Jane and Liza Withers as well as a large circle of friends and family.
