Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on Friday, December 10, 2010, Emily Violet Abbott of Harbour Mille, age 99 years. Predeceased by parents William and Frances Scott, husband William James Abbott, sisters Margaret Myles, Louisa Fudge, Janet Scott and Elizabeth Scott; brothers Edward Scott and Scott Baker, adopted parents Mary and John Winsor, adopted sisters Elizabeth Pardy and Rebecca Pittman, adopted brother George Winsor; son-in-law Merriel Pardy and granddaughter Wanda Pauline Pardy. Leaving to mourn: daughters Francis Barnes(Cecil) of Brampton, Ontario, Margaret Pardy and son Albert Abbott (Sarah) of Harbour Mille; 7 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and adopted brother James Winsor. Remains resting at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Harbour Mille on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 2 pm from St. Mary's Church.
