The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

BANFIELD, Lloyd G.
(June 30, 1931 - December 1, 2009)

Passed peacefully away at the U S Memorial Health Care Center at St. Lawrence on Tuesday, December 01, 2009, Lloyd G. Banfield of Grand Beach, age 78 years, who was a Veteran of the Korean War. Predeceased by parents Charles and Amelia Banfield, and brother Robert. Leaving to mourn: wife Winnifred, son Douglas (Marilyn), granddaughters Kayla and Krista, and grandson Dylan, brothers Edgar, Derrick, Charles and William, sisters Joan, Nora, Kathleen and Marilyn. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation will take place on Tuesday, December 1st. Visitation will take place at Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Thursday, December 3rd from 10am - 12noon; 2pm - 5pm. Cemetery Service for inurnment of ashes will take place at United Church Cemetery, Grand Beach on Friday, December 4th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the U S Memorial Health Care, Protective Care Nursing Unit, St Lawrence. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.

BELBIN, Earl J.
(February 2, 1917 - December 17, 2009)

Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on Thursday, December 17, 2009 Earl J. Belbin of Grand Bank, age 92 years. Predeceased by parents Joshua and Julia Belbin; sisters Rita, Marie and Millie; brothers Guy and Ralph. Leaving to mourn: Nieces: Phyllis Suttis, Doreen Loveys, Marilyn Lewis and Brenda Elford; Nephews: David Keating, George Elford, Derek Belbin, and their families. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 pm - 9 pm; Friday and Saturday from 2 pm - 4 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm. Date and time of funeral service to be announced later.
