BARNES, JORDON
Passed peacefully away at his residence on Friday August 14, 2015 Jordon Barnes of Grand Bank, age 70 years. Leaving to mourn; wife; Helen, 2 daughters; Cora (Paul), Judy (Bob), 2 sons; Stew (Bernice), & Stephen Barnes. 3 grandchildren; (January 27, 1945 - August 14, 2015) Passed peacefully away at his residence on Friday August 14, 2015 Jordon Barnes of Grand Bank, age 70 years. Leaving to mourn; wife; Helen, 2 daughters; Cora (Paul), Judy (Bob), 2 sons; Stew (Bernice), Stephen Barnes. 3 grandchildren; Chris (Tracey), David (Jennifer), Andy (Kerri-Lynn), 6 great grandchildren; Nicholas, Marcus, Alyssa, Dylan, Avery, and Leah. 3 brothers; Eric (Geraldine), Phil (Ruby), and Floyd (Geraldine), 5 sisters; Alvina (Norm), Emma (Cecil), Sadie (Lloyd), Ruth, Beverley (Fred), and their families. 3 brothers-in law; Bob (Mary Ann), Ambrose, Ernest (Margaret), 2 sisters-in law; Loretta, Melita (Max), and their families. Plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home on Friday August 14, 2015 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm (Family Only). Public visitation from 7:00 pm -9:00 pm, and then again on Saturday August 15th from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday August 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm from St. Alban's Anglican Church, Grand Bank. Cremation will take place after the service. Inurnment to follow at a later date. BRENTON, TRUDY
Passed peacefully away at the Health Science centre after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 22, 2015 Trudy Brenton of Burin aged 61 years. Leaving to mourn with precious memories husband Henry; sons Jason and Joey; daughter Kerri-Lynn (Husband John King) of Ottawa, Lesley of London, England; 2 grandchildren Nolan and Ethan King; sisters Rhoda Brushett (Husband Eric), Doreen (Partner Marcella); brothers Calvin (partner Trudy), Daryl (Wife Prissie) Plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by father Harold, mother Maria, brother Derrick. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to SPCA Burin or Burin Chemo Unit. LUNDRIGAN, EUGENE
Born July 6, 1964 Passed peacefully away on August 10, 2015 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre after a lengthy illness, Eugene Lundrigan of Burin, aged 61 years. Eugene leaves to mourn with rich and treasured memories, wife Sheila of 35 years, daughters Jennifer Barnes (Ryan) of CBS and Melissa White (Jared) of Burin and precious granddaughter, Kaitlin Barnes. Eugene worked at Hickman Motors in Burin for 35 years and spent 20 years as a volunteer firefighter. In recent years, his granddaughter Kaitlin was a source of much joy. Eugene is also lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers: Kevin Lundrigan, Mary Francis, Bernice Hollett (Don), Pauline Walsh (Terry), Leo Lundrigan, Keith Lundrigan (Mary) all of Burin. Also leaving to mourn his sisters-in-law: Madeline White (Keith), Sandra Sullivan (Barry), Kathleen Butt (Charlie), and Mildred Glover (Wince Moores), plus a large number of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Lundrigan, parents-in-law Jonas and Pearl Glover, sister-in-law Mary Lundrigan, and brother-in-law Ben Francis. He will be deeply missed. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louise Stoodley of Grand Bank, announces her passing at the G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, August 21, 2015, at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her brother Roy Stoodley of Grand Falls, plus many nieces and nephews and a circle of close friends, especially the staff and residents of Cozy Quarters Personal Care Home in Clarenville. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Louisa Stoodley; sisters, Eleanor Forsey (Walter), Ester Forsey (Sam), Mary King (Jack); Annie Tibbo (Gilbert), Marion Stoodley; brothers, Elic Stoodley (Sadie), Robert Stoodley (Myrtle), Thomas Stoodley (Alice), Max Stoodley (Jean), John Stoodley. A family service was conducted by Rev. Marilyn Rees on Sunday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. from Warren's Funeral Home. Organist was Jeanette Dampier. Internment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Grand Bank. Pall Bearers were; Aubrey Wells, Kelvin Matthews, George Forsey, Edward Cooper, Tom Cumben, & Edgar Bonnell. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's funeral Home Grand Bank.
