*When God calls home a loved one the pain is hard to bear,
But Angels they are needed in heaven everywhere,
But he took a Special Angel to sit there by his side,
One to trust and cherish, to talk to and confide,
For Angels are a blessing in god's loving, caring hands,
Although we will always miss you, it is he who understands,
We know you are here beside us, we will never feel alone ,
With an Angel now to guide us, since the good Lord took you home.
Rest in peace dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.*

After a strong and courageous fight, she drifted peacefully to sleep for the last time, surrounded by her family on the morning of April 4, 2021 at the age of 73. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 51 years, Wallace Moulton, her daughter, Aileen Harte (Moulton) (John), and son, Graeme Moulton (Jeanene), who were the loves of her life. Her grandchildren Sarah, Kaitlin, Megan, Andrew and Ryan who she loved beyond measure and was so very proud of. Also her beloved older sister, Margaret Mackay (Danny), in Scotland. Also left to mourn are her extended family near and far, and friends of her community of Garnish and her home Country of Scotland. She leaves behind a large circle of friends that she made her family. She was highly involved in her community of Garnish after moving to Canada from Scotland 54 years ago and went above and beyond for everyone she met. She was the life of the party and was always willing to make a fool of herself to make others laugh. She truly lived life to the fullest and always instilled that love and energy into those that she held close. She was an inspiration and a role model. Her kind and giving soul shone a light on this world that will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Those of us she leaves behind will hold her in our hearts forever. Her spirit lives on in the sunsets over Fortune Bay and in the wind through the rolling fields of Scotland. "To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die" Anne is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Morrison, her brother Roy Morrison and extended family members. The family would like to send a special thank you to all staff that cared for her like their own and went above and beyond at both the Burin Peninsula Healthcare Centre and St. Clare's ICU. Your compassion will never be forgotten. The Moulton Family will have a private visitation at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on Tuesday, April 6th, from 2 pm - 4 pm. O'REILLY, David Victor
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Victor O'Reilly, age 65, of Springhill, NS. Dave passed away at the Halifax Infirmary on Sunday, April 11, 2021, while surrounded by his family. Born in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Albert and Theresa (Turpin) O'Reilly. Dave loved a job well done. His brothers and sisters felt he was a gentle soul growing up, and joked that he was "the quiet O'Reilly". His brother Robert commented that 'nary a soul on this planet can speak ill of him'. A friendly man, he had countless acquaintances, and if you were his friend, you were his TRUE friend. He was a quiet and methodical man who was satisfied with his life and relished in the simple things. He gained great satisfaction in his carpentry endeavours and was surely and humbly proud of his accomplishments. Well read, thoughtful and well spoken, he was non-judgemental and was accepting of others as others accepted him and enjoyed his company. He cherished a good smoke. Dave's words of advice to his daughters..."It pays to live, see you learn something new everyday; One thing you never really learn is how dumb you really are." Dave was a comical character who never squandered a day and may we forever be infected by his contagious, humorous, and compassionate disposition regarding life. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 26 years, Cathy Ward, Springhill, his twin daughters Carrigan and Lauren; mother-in-law Marilyn Ward, Springhill, NS; brothers Ed, St. Lawrence, NL, Robert (Sophie), Toronto, ON, Leonard, Sidney, BC, and Michael (Jackie), Calgary, AB; sisters Juanita (George) Barrett, Halifax, NS and Colleen (Tony) Rogers, Chester, NS; sisters-in-law Frances Ward, Springhill, NS; Linda (Steve) Ward, Springhill, NS and Amanda Ward, Springhill, NS; nephews Justin, Jason, Perry, Jude, Timothy, Stephen, Marc, Matthew, John, Robert, and Luke; nieces Sonya, Peggy, Lisa, Mandie, Scottie, Manon and Mary; as well as numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. He had good friends Mary Dee MacPherson, Kim Schashl, Tony Schashl, John Gabriel and Paul Canning. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law Fred Ward; brother Albert; brothers-in-law Vince Ward, Richard Ward and Danny Ward. Very special thanks for the extraordinary efforts and compassionate care to the CCU Nursing staff concerned with Dave's care, as well as all of the Doctors, Nurses and Respiratory Therapists who work in critical care.
