The area includes from Terrenceville on down to Grand Bank, over to Lamaline, St. Lawrence, Burin, Marystown and down the Peninsula again to Boat Harbour. All the communities are not named but serves the whole of the Peninsula.

 

BRINSON, JEAN ELIZABETH
Passed peacefully away at the U. S. Memorial Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Sunday, April 15, 2018, JEAN ELIZABETH BRINSON, of Creston South, NL, in her 83rd year. Leaving to mourn her loving son Barry (Bernetta), Creston South, daughter Goldie Webb, Garnish: 4 grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Jean is predeceased by her husband George, parents Edward and Caroline Joyce, daughter Florence Marie, son in law Adam Webb, brothers Clyde and Rendell, sisters Florence, Lillian, and Ina. Resting at Peninsula Funeral Home, on Monday, April 16, from 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm, and Tuesday, April 17, from 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Hope and Faith Corps Salvation Army Citadel, Creston South, on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 at 3:00 pm. COADY, FRANK
It is with great sadness the family of Frank Coady of Marystown announces his passing at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on April 9, 2018, at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories partner Philomena; son Frankie Hynes (Bonnie) of Fort McMurray; daughter Joella Finley (John) of Leduc, AB; grandchildren Magurie, Malone, Monroe and Daisy; sisters Susan Porter (John) of and Irene Porter both of Bay Roberts; brother Douglas Coady of St. John's, brother-in-law Roy Barnes; sisters-in-law Patricia Coady of Florida and Mary Coady of Ontario plus a large circle of other family and friends. COX, MONICA
It is with great sadness that the family of Monica Cox of Terrenceville announces her passing at US Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sister Loretta Whittle (John) and many nieces and nephews plus a large circle of friends. ROUL, JOHN ROBERT
It is with heavy hearts and disbelief that the family of the late JOHN ROBERT ROUL ----------originally of Lawn announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the age of 50. John grew up in Lawn, NL but moved to Gander in 2000 for a career with the Town of Gander. John was a hard working man who never stopped and his mark is left with everyone. He was tremendously proud of his granddaughter Ryleigh who he loved more than anything. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Darlene; son, Johnathon (Devan); daughter, Cara (Mark); sister; Laurella (Ted): brothers, Tom (Elsie), Columbus (Ann), Randy (Merle); a very special granddaughter, Ryleigh; stepchildren, Trudy Lee (Brandon) and Tanner; mother-in-law Margaret; brother-in-law Ricky (Kim) plus a large circle of extended family and friends. TILLER, HETTIE
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Hettie Tiller, age 94, originally from Grand Bank. Predeceased by her husband: Hayward Tiller (2007); parents: Thomas and Elizabeth Melloy; and 10 siblings. Our mother had a lovely smile and anyone who met her felt her love and kindness. We have been so blessed to have had her in our lives for so many years. She will be deeply missed by her children Ruth Bradford (Walter Oates) Ruth's children: Lisa, Shana. Dana; Jerry (Simone Roy) Jerry's children: Tanya and Michelle; Jocelyn Walsh (Ed) children: Kim and Krista; Bonnie Butt (Calvin) children: Stephanie and Natalie; Debbie Connors (Chris) children: Melissa, Matthew and Mark; brother: Stan Melloy residing in Vancouver (age 96); sister-in-law: Marie Winsor; brother-in-law: Mason Tiller and niece: Jean Dunford (Herb). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Dominic Farrell of 41 years; son, Shawn Young of Creston South; daughters, Melissa Loder (Chad) of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Karen Young of Little Bay and Nikki Farrell (Cyril Turner) of St. Lawrence; 6 grandchildren, Chloe, Chelsea, Chad, Ashley, Courtney and Nicola; sisters, Susan Young (Mac Brinston) of Creston South, Kimberley Young (Glen Parsons) of Edmonton, Bernice Young (Ed Lundrigan) of Burin, and Roxanne Young of Creston South; brothers, Ernest Young of Creston South, Carl Young (Darlene Barry) of Creston South, Gary Young of Creston South, Colin Young of Ontario and Rodney Young of Ontario; sister-in-law Mary Power of Creston South; special friends, Trevor Wagg of Burin, Andrew Edwards of Marystown and Velma Farrell of Marystown; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by parents Richard and Sarah Young, and brother Reuben Young. The Young Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Marystown on Friday, April 20 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Donna's Life will take place at Wiseman's Funeral Home, Marystown on Saturday, April 21st at 7:00 pm, all are welcome to attend.
