(1959-2015)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late WAYNE BUDGELL of Lord's Cove announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Friday, April 16, 2015, at the age of 55. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Bernice of 28 years; son, Ryan Budgell of Lord's Cove; daughters, April Hillier (Albert) of St. John's and Glenda Budgell of St. John's; brothers, Terrence Budgell (Jan) of St. John's, Robert Budgell (Alfreda) of St. John's, Paul (Lori-Ann) of Lamaline and Bill Budgell of Lamaline; sisters, Mary Budgell of Lamaline and Debbie Budgell of Lamaline; his special K-9 friend, Jake; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Annabelle Budgell. Passed peacefully away at the Grand Bank Health Center April 28, 2015 Mr. Leonard M Burt, age 89 years. Predeceased by parents Julia and Stan Burt, sister Dinah Sweetapple, brother George Henry Burt, son-in-law Ernest Hillier, granddaughter in law Cynthia Burt. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 66 years Beulah; sons Bruce (Elizabeth), Lloyd (May); Daughters Sandra (Calvin), Sharon (Doug), Shelia (Albert), Lynn (Shawn); grandchildren Terry (Rose), Tammy (Terry), Norman (Amanda), Michael (Nicole), Michael Hillier (Sherry), Lisa (Travis), Melisa (Marty), Jacqueline, Matthew (Lisa), Jeanica (Andrew), Cody. 18 great grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Carl (Sandra) of Marystown, and Wade (Loretta) of Marystown; daughters Betty (Ian) Fogarty of Alberta, Judy (Evan) Goodine of New Brunswick, Diane (Kevin) Miller of Marystown, Linda (Lenester) Curtis of Marystown, Elsie (Bill) Planetta of Alberta, Deena (Sam) Hooper of Marystown, Hilda Walsh of Ontario, Jeannie (Gary) Cheeke of Ontario, Gail (Brian) Ralph of Ontario, and Rita (Derrick) James of Mt. Pearl; sisters Edna Whalen of St. John's, and Sheila Gushue of Whitbourne; 30 Grandchildren; 19 Great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. FORSEY, Freeman
(January 16, 1926 - April 25, 2015)

Passed away at his residence in Grand Bank on Saturday, April 25, 2015, Freeman Forsey, age 89. Predeceased by parents Aaron Forsey and Jane Weymouth, step-father John Weymouth; brothers; George and William; grandson; Christopher. Leaving to mourn wife Grace of 68 years. Sons: Bruce (Kate), Leven (Linda) grandsons; Aaron, Andrew and Brett (Kelly), granddaughter Valerie (Brad) Piercey also 5 great grandchildren, Matthew Anstey, Allison and Kyla Piercey, Weldon and Madeline Forsey, sisters; Maude Fozo, Hamilton, Ontario and Lily (Joseph) Ammondolia Mississauga, Ontario. A special kitty Zoey plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service and visitation will be at a later date. GRANDY, Newman
(October 26, 1933 - April 18, 2015)

Passed peacefully away at the US Memorial Hospital in St. Lawrence, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 Newman Grandy of Garnish age 81 years. Leaving to mourn sister Ada Grandy (Willis) of Halifax, niece Linda Cluett (Harvey) of Garnish, many nieces, nephews plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Walter and Phoebe Grandy. Resting at St. Giles Anglican Church, Garnish, all day Monday April 20, 2015. Funeral service date and time to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.

HISCOCK, Mary Bertha
(June 28, 1927-April 28, 2015)

Passed peacefully away, at The Grand Bank Blue Crest Nursing Home, Mary Bertha Hiscock, at the age of 87. Predeceased by husband: Lewis Hiscock, parents: Charlie and Clara Royal, brother: James Royal and sister: Maria Seamen. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Lily (Phil) Hollett of Grand Beach and Irene (Ian) Dickenson of Bellville, Ont. Sister: Elsie Follett of Grand Bank and sister-In-law: Joan Royal of Mount Pearl, NL. Grandchildren: Roseann (Don), Rick (Barbara), Rhoda Lynn (Mike), Pat (Heather), Clare (Ken) and Colin. Great granddaughters: Stacey, Jessica, Cyan and Noel. Great grandson: Maki. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral Service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Service will be conducted by Major Phyllis Blundell-Colbourne and Captain Reid Colbourne. Internment to follow at the Untied Church Cemetery Grand Beach. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Laura (Drake) of 16 years, daughters: Rachel (16) and Rebekah (8), sons: Drake (9) and Christopher (6). Also leaving to mourn mother Elizabeth Winsor, sister Dawn (Olive and Martin), uncle Paul Winsor (Cathy Parrell), aunt Donna Winsor, parents-in-law Fred and Barb Drake and a large circle of family and friends.
