Of Somerville, Feb. 7. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Doran. Loving Mother of Kevin and his wife Rose Doran of Medford and the late Shirley Doran. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Megan and Kyle Doran all of Medford. Madeline will be lovingly missed by her family and friends in Newfoundland, Canada. Funeral from the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High St. Medford Square, Medford on Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Saint Raphael's Church, Medford at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday morning 9 am - 9:45 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeline's name may be made to the Aphasia Association, 350 7th Ave., Suite 902, NY NY 10001. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Passed away peacefully on May 22, 2010 in the presence of her family and friends. Born July 26, 1924 in Tilting, Fogo Island, Newfoundland, where she was raised and educated. Madeline gave extraordinary care throughout her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, beginning at Children's Hospital, Boston during the polio epidemic. She continued with loving devotion caring for the elderly and Alzheimer's patients at the John Scott Nursing Home for over 25 years. Madeline's love for her large family was her greatest joy. Madeline loved listening to Irish Music, knitting, and was famous for her homemade bread. She also enjoyed her summers in Maine with her children and grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Alfred "Ralph" St. Croix. Devoted mother of Linda M. St. Croix-Toner and her husband Jim of Hanover, Francis J. St. Croix and his wife Jay of Halifax, Ralph M. St. Croix and his wife Betty of E. Bridgewater, Ann Marie Mossman and her husband Jerry of Braintree, Patricia L. Critch and her husband Rich of Halifax and Kevin G. St. Croix and his wife Debbie of Weymouth. Sister of Harold Greene and his wife Anne of Weymouth and the late Isabel, Teresa, Herbert, Cecelia, Belle, Loretta, Frederick, Dorothy, Sr. Patrick Mary, Michael, Sr. Theresa Michael and William. Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and two great grandsons. She was also grandmother of the late Jennifer St. Croix. She is also survived by her long time caretaker and friends. Maureen Walsh of Dorchester and Marie MacDonald of E. Bridgewater. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment, Fairmount Cemetery, E. Weymouth. WATKINS, Harvey Francis Age 86. of Lecanto FL. The Service of Remembrance will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor Gordon Condit officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of the Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Florida. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.HooperFuneralHome.com     Mr. Watkins was born November 15, 1923 in NewFoundland and died Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Lecanto, FL. He was a Mason, worked as a carpenter in the construction industry and moved to Lecanto, Florida from Massachusetts 20 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Watkins of Lecanto, FL. He has 2 sons, Robert Watkins and his wife, Carol and Gordon Watkins, a brother, Don Watkins of NewFoundland, and 2 granddaughters, Heather and Amanda.
