of Winthrop, January 25, 2009. Beloved wife of the late William L. McCormick. Cherished daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Halloran) St. Croix of Newfoundland. Devoted mother of Mary McCormick-Gendzel and her husband Jack of Marblehead, Isabel Leduc and her husband Ned of Dartmouth, Linda Meldrum of Lynn, Charlotte Ndalye of Arlington, VA, and William McCormick and his wife Karen of Haverhill. Sister of Margaret Halloran and Carmel Howard of Newfoundland, Jeannette Murphy of Ontario, Canada, and the late Tom, Clifford, Teddy, Cornelius, and Edward St. Croix and Anita Furlong all from Newfoundland, Canada. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 55 nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, Wed. Jan. 28, at 10:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church at 11:30 am. Relatives & friends invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery.
