Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on September 27, 2014, Charles Andrews age 91 years of Wesleyville. Predeceased by his parents George and Esleymonde Andrews; brothers Kenneth, Heber, Chesley and William; sister Frances Czarnecki (Charles). Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Mae; son Chris (Nadine) of Wesleyville; daughter Maxine Fifield (Sam) of Wesleyville; grandchildren Matthew Andrews, Noelle Andrews, Jonah Andrews, Jacob Andrews and Charles Fifield; great-grandchildren Xander Andrews, Logan Andrews, Lilly Andrews and Hannah Andrews; sisters Anastatia Underhay(Howard) of St. John's and Marie Cull(Ross) of St. John's; sisters-in-law Bessie Andrews of Harbour Grace and Irene Andrews of Wesleyville; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville. BUFFETT, James
Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Monday, September 1st, 2014, James Buffett, age 76. Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Karla, Son Ben, daughter Karin, grandchildren Kyle, Julia, James, Matthew, Holly and a large circle of relatives and friends. As per James request, Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. Mr. Buffett Served 32 years in the Canadian Forces, Royal Canadian Regiment and Canadian Airborne Regiment. Passed peacefully away on Aug 15, 2014 at Gander Hospital, Hayward Nelson Burry age 86, into the hands of his Lord and Saviour. Hayward is a native and lifetime resident of Glovertown, NL. Leaving to cherish a life of wonderful memories and blessings, his wife ('his old trout') of 61 years Emily (nee Calloway), his 3 children, Terry (Rae), Heather (Scott) and Verna (Munir), 4 Grandchildren Mark (Megan), Samantha (Jay), Jonathan and Benjamin. Predeceased by his parents Nelson & Lucy Burry (nee Bragg), his siblings August, Onslo Stratton, Tom and by his Grandparents Levi & Maud Burry (nee Stroud), and Samuel & Mary Ann Bragg (nee Burry). Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kiser for his compassionate bedside manners and the nursing staff of James Paton Memorial Hospital. Born November 22nd, 1923, passed away Sept 6th, 2014

Passed away suddenly at Golden Legion Manor, Gander on Saturday, September 6th, 2014, Dulcie Clouter, age 90 (formerly of Catalina). Predeceased by parents John and Fannie Clouter, sisters Genevieve, Elva, Opal and brother John. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sister Shirley Clouter, and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and her special friends at Golden Legion Manor. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home on Friday, September 12th. Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th at 2:00 P.M. from Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Cremation has taken place. Passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2014, James Forbes, age 90. Predeceased by his parents James and Harriet (nee-Taylor) of Carbonear, wife Noreen (Nee-Kent) and brother Cyril of St. John's. Left to mourn with loving memories are his sons Barry (Jill) of West Hill, ON; Kent (Myrtle) of Middleton, NS; Neal (Brenda) of Gander, grandchildren Rod, Ryan, Ian and Andrew, great-grandchildren Patrick, Erin, Jasmine, Andrew and Riley, sister-in-law Peg Forbes of St. John's and a large circle of family and friends. FRANCIS, Inez
Passed away peacefully at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday September 24, 2014, Inez Francis, age 90 of Clarks Head, Gander Bay. Predeceased by her husband Dominic, daughters Maxine, Andrea and brothers Llewlyn and Eric, sister in-law Edna. Left to mourn with loving memories are sons: Reginald (Pauline), Dalton (Cathy), Ira (Gwen), Phil, daughters; Marie, Joan (Fred), Selma (Cliff), Christine (Richard), Joanne (Larry) and Yvonne (Bob); her brothers; Anderson, Clayton (Barbara) and Dalton (Anne), sisters-in-law Charlotte and Jean, along with 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Inez was a resident of Riverview Retirement Home in Gander Bay for the past two years prior to her hospitalization. Special thanks to the staff of Riverview Retirement Home, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of James Paton Memorial Hospital for their compassion and loving care. July 16, 1942 - September 16th, 2014

Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital with family and friends by her side, as she reunited with her son Baby Boy Goulding. Left to mourn Husband Jesse; daughters Sue Ann (Daryl), Juanetia (Lar), Camille (Clyde), Michelle (Tom); son Deon (Jackie). Grandchildren Bradley, Mitchell, Matthew, Tyler, Chantelle and Shannon; Great Grandchildren Julia, Jaxson, Jayden and Cohen. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo. Visitation to take place Wednesday September 17th from 7:30pm-9pm and Thursday September 18th from 10:30am-9pm. Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Sunday, September 14th, 2014, Michael F. Hearn, age 85. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine (nee-Yetman), wife Bernice Hearn (nee-Bouzane), siblings William, Gerald, Jack, Bride, Doris and Theresa. Left to mourn with loving memories are his sons Michael (Lori), Blaine (Melanie) of Gander, daughters Kathy of Gander, Marlene (Blair LeDrew) of St. John's, nephew Wayne March, brothers Vince (Helen) of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Adrian Of Harbour Grace, grandchildren Tina, Andrew, Michael, Joshua, Victoria, Stephanie and Madison, great grandchildren Sydney, Lexy, Eva-Lee and a large circle of relatives and friends. REID, Melvin "Doug"
Passed away at Lakeside Homes, on Sunday, September 21st, 2014, Melvin "Doug" Reid of Gander (formally of Chapel Arm), in his 73rd year. Predeceased by his parents Sam and Lily Reid, parents-in-law Abe and Dorothy Turner, sisters Evelyn, Violet and Audrey, brother Cyril, niece Tracey Warren, nephew Perry Knee, sisters-in-law Geraldine Turner, Linda Reid, Norma Reid and brother-in-law Harry Warren. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Eileen, sons David, Peter (Lesley Anne), grandsons Turner, Pierce and Jack, brothers Sam (Jackie), Wallace (Barb), Mundon (Glennis), Harold (Laura), brother-in-law Alf Turner (Judy), Percy Knee and Peter Stoyles, aunts, cousins and friends. SACREY, Edith Belle (Ralph)
February 9, 1924 to September 22, 2014
On September 22, 2014 at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander NL, Edith Belle Sacrey (Ralph), 90 years of age, joined her loving husband Lloyd Sacrey (deceased 1979) in eternal rest. Belle was predeceased by her parents, Israel and Gertrude Ralph and her dearly loved Aunt and Uncle, Gid and Louie Kelligrew, whom she resided with in St. John's. She was also predeceased by her sisters and brothers Inez, Amy, Fred and Gid Ralph. She leaves with loving memories her son Arthur (Alice Gibbons), daughters Jennifer (Rick Gosse), Diana, Barbara, Ann (Danny Breen) and Jane with whom she resided. Her Grandchildren David Gosse (Riko), Brian Gosse (Jennifer), Lloyd Sacrey, Everett Sacrey (Kim), Jill Sacrey, Nadine Halfyard, Erika Breen (Tony), Katie Breen (Matthew). Two great grandchildren Ian Gosse and Landon Sacrey. Belle also leaves to mourn her sister Dorothy (Ron Woodcock), and sisters in law Joan Duncan and Eva Ralph and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Belle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Her selfless nature, warm smile and quick wit made her a special neighbour and friend to all. She devoted her time to raising her family but was always active in her community, helping out various charities. She spent 46 years in TOPS and many years in various roles with the Ladies Auxillary of Branch 8 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Gander. Through this service she was awarded her Life Membership in the Ladies Auxillary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held at Stacey's Funeral Homes in Gander on Tuesday September 23, 2014, Wednesday September 24, 2014. Funeral service was held on Thursday September 25, 2:00 pm at St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral in Gander. Internment followed at All Saints Cemetery, Gander. Donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital For Sick Children.

WICKS, Arthur
It is with love, sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur Wicks age 94 years of Badger's Quay, at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, September 12, 2014. Known to many as "Art", a pillar of the community and friend to many. He is predeceased by his wife Eunice; son William; parents Cecil and Lillian Wicks; brothers William, Ernest, Eli and Gerald; sisters Jean Wiseman and Carrie Sutherland. Left with fond and loving memories are his son Hector (Louise) of Badger's Quay; daughters Shirley Dyke (Gerald) of Badger's Quay and Maryann Wheaton (Herbert) of Frederickton; grandchildren Glenn (Shelly), Paul (Tracey), Jennifer (Dennis), Donna (Rod), Faye (Roy), Theresa (Leighton), Randy (Florence), Jeff (Bonnie), Paula (Darrell) and Sherry; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Frances Broderick of Mt. Pearl, Marie Burton(Sam) of Toronto, ON., Stella Burry(Saul) of Badger's Quay; brothers Lloyd Wicks of Manitoba and Donald Wicks of Badger's Quay; sisters-in-law Joan, Audrey, Masie and Addie King; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at Memorial United Church, Valleyfield on Monday, September 15, 2014 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield.
