Jim passed peacefully away at his home in Fort McMurray, Alberta, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn and always love him, his wife Brenda; daughter Tara Lynn; parents John and Margaret; brothers, John (Gaylene), Rod (Roxanne); sisters, Eileen (Ernest) Lynch, Wanda Sparkes, Rosemary (Hubert) Matchim, Judy (Allan) Hawco, Janet, Tracy (Keith) Taite; father and mother-in-law, Eric and Daisy Rogers, brothers-in-law Dean (Eileen), Larry (Maxine), Keith (Joanne); sisters-in-law, Sharon (Don) Parsons, Kim (Tim) Burton; numerous nieces and nephews, along with a large circle of supportive family and friends. In celebration of Jim's life, a funeral service was held on Oct. 26 at All Saint's Church, Fort McMurray. At Jim's request, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held on November 10 at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church in Glovertown, NF.
