Passed peacefully away on June 21, 2015 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Mae Andrews age 89 years of Wesleyville. Predeceased by her husband Charles Andrews; parents, Percy & Ethel Knee; sisters, Megan Knee, Nellie Knee, Lucy Knee & Annie Sheppard; and brother Job Knee. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Christopher Andrews (Nadine) and daughter Maxine Fifield (Samuel) all of Wesleyville; grandchildren, Charles, Matthew, Noelle, Jonah and Jacob; great -grandchildren, Logan, Xander, Lillian and Hannah; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at The Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Wednesday June 24, 2015 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at The Jubilee United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville. Donations may be made in her memory to the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville. Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Saturday, June 20, 2015 Lawrence Hank Gibbons age 68 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his father Ross Gibbons. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother Amy Gibbons; brother Andy (Christine); partner Joan; daughters Penney (Garry) and Tammy; sons John (Stacie) and Jamie (Winnie); grandchildren Melissa, Damien, Dillon and Megan; great-grandchildren Meia and Beau; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his 1st wife Joan Wheeler; 2nd wife Daphne Way; parents George and Ursula Harris; brother Melvin. Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Friday, June 19, 2015 Barbara Hopkins age 85 years of Wesleyville. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Lydia Sturge. Passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Brookfield Hospital Mary Janes age 67 years of Badger's Quay. Predeceased by her parents John and Ella May Hiscock; grandson Andrew Burry; sisters Jessie Hiscock and Mildred Hiscock. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Ernest; son Ernie (Janice) of Badger's Quay; daughters Connie (Shawn) of Pool's Island, Lorrieann (Terry) of Paradise, Angela (Gregory) of CBS and Sharon (Floyd) of Wesleyville; brothers Roy (Sylvia) of Islington and Jack (Hilda) of Carbonear; grandchildren Charlene (Cory), Scott (Erica), Bradley (Kayla), Jessica (Brandon), Brandon, Chloe, Sara, Alexis, Dawson and Clare; great-grandchildren Blake Noseworthy, Gavin Hoyles and Tierra Hoyles Burry; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. LUSH, Nina
Nina Louise (Chappell) Lush
was received into glory on June 1, 2015 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Leslie D. Lush and daughters, Barbara and Norma, Nina will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Nelson John, Ruth (Ray Swyers), Leslie Jr. (Barbara), Golda (Robert Rice), Paul (Patricia), Michelle (Sam Saunders) and sister Hazel Gaulton. Also, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild, each of whom she loved very much. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Nina loved to spend time in her garden tending to the flowers. She had an amazing talent for embroidery. The back of her embroidery was as beautiful as the front. Nina was an avid reader and her favourite book was the Bible. She was devoted to her family and prayed faithfully for them every day. Mom was a quiet and reserved person, when she spoke you knew she had something important to say. She will always be a blessing and a treasure to us. We are very proud to call her "Our Mom”. The family is deeply grateful to Pastor Wilson S. Hynes, Winona Hynes, Olive Holloway & Sharon Richards for their love, support & comfort to Mom at the time of her passing. Also sincerest gratitude is extended to the Lakeside Homes Extended Care unit for their care and compassion. The funeral service was held on June 5, 2015 at Riverside Pentecostal Church in Glenwood. Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at Lakeside Homes, Gander on June 26th 2015 Margaret Luther age 86 years. Predeceased by husband George, son George Jr., parents Harry and Clarice Buckley, brothers Reg and Angus, sister Florence and brother-in-law Glenn Canning. MacARTHUR, Ian
It is with great sadness that the family of Ian MacArthur announce his sudden passing in Kippens on June 30th 2015 at the age of nineteen years. He will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving parents Clayton and Gina MacArthur, his only brother Gerard in Kippens, his Grandparents Donald and Helen Feltham in Glovertown and Grandmother Frances MacArthur in Searston, Codroy Valley along with many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by Poppy Gerard MacArthur and by his Great Nan Susie Feltham with whom he shared many precious memories. At his family's request, cremation has taken place. Funeral services took place on Tuesday July 7th 2015 at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with inurnment to take place at a later date. Passed peacefully away on June 5, 2015 at Brookfield Hospital Seymour Stokes age 81 years of Cape Freels. Predeceased by his parents Job and Annie; sisters Lydia, Neta and Ellen; brother Gerald.
