Passed peacefully away on June 1, 2011 at her residence, Sarah White, age 76 of Centreville. Predeceased by her parents, Othniel and Mary Janes, husband, Norman, brothers, Clarence and Raymond Janes, brothers-in-law, Lacie Humphries, Eleazor Blackwood, sister-in-law, Delilah Janes. Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John's on Thursday, June 2, 2011 Les Burton, age 54. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, Edgar and Margaret Burton, wife, Debbie, sons, Shawn (Heather) of Devon, AB; Eric of Gander, daughter, Jennifer (Austin) Haines of Leduc, AB; sister, Gail (Gerald) Noseworthy of Gander, grandchildren, Issac and Tyler Haines and a large circle of other relatives and friends. It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing. Caleb passed away at Lakeside Home in Gander, on June 9, 2011, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Mary Parsons, sister Josephine Easton. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Emily, sons; Robert (Una), Barry (Joan), Deon (Darlene), daughters; Ruth (Dennis) Brown, Cynthia (Paul Geange) , Patti (Terry) Hunt. BROWN, Gerald -
It is with great sadness that we the Family of Gerald Eugene Brown of Hare Bay announce his passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital on June 11, 2011 at the age of 65yrs, following a brief illness. Gerald was born on August 4th, 1945 and is predeceased by his father William, mother Marjorie, brother Howard, sister Viola and loving wife Ruby. Left with fond and loving memories are his two sons Greg (Lisa), Shane (Cindy), brother Cecil (Linda) and grandchildren Ashley, Megan, Tyler and Courtney. Gerald is resting at Oram's Funeral Home, Dover with visitation Monday June 13th at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, Hare Bay with interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lockyer's Bay.

Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander, on Saturday, June 11, 2011, Susie Feltham (nee Oram) of Glovertown, at age 95. Predeceased by husband Ephriam (1990), son, Winston (1995), brother-in-law, Caleb (1992) and sister-in-law Daisy (2009). Leaving to mourn, sons Earl (Jeannette), Don (Helen), daughter-in-law Marion, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends. Special thanks to nephew Derek Ryan for his many visits. The family extends sincere appreciation to the staff of Lakeside Homes for their kindness and special care. Passed away suddenly on June 10, 2011 Melvin Gillingham, age 53 years. Predeceased by mother Rose. Left with loving memories are his father Raymond, common-law partner Catherine Aylward of Gander, step sons Brad and Brian, step daughters Karen and Cindy, brothers Marvin (Bernice), Raymond (Vivian), Bruce (Susanne), sisters Jeanette (Leonard), Brada (Gary), Bonnie (David), Donna (Calvin), Donella (Clyde), special friend Victoria Fitzgerald (who was like a daughter). Also a large circle of family and friends. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 15th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Michael's & All Angels Anglican Church, Pollards Point. Interment Anglican Cemetery. Melvin was an Orthopedic Technologist at the James Paton Memorial Health Center for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing (real outdoor lover), Music was a new love (DJ & playing Guitar), He was known for his great love for children, sense of humor and his smile. Melvin loved having fun and laughing. On Saturday, June 11, 2011 Peyton Randi Pardy, precious infant daughter of Pauline Pardy and Jerry Sheehan passed away at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook. Peyton will be lovingly missed by her grandparents Winnie Pardy; Michael and Luella Sheehan all of Beniot's Cove. She was a special sister to Alex, Ashley and Alana of Calgary, AB. Peyton's aunts, uncles, cousins and special cousins Tara and Alexandra MacDonald will miss her greatly; she holds a special place in their hearts. Peyton is predeceased by her grandfather Dolph Pardy and aunt Peggy Sheehan. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Boulos announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick on June 17, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her sons: Paul (Ann) Boulos of Stephenville, NL, Dominic (Florence) Boulos of Kippens, NL, daughters: Barbara (Robert) Luttrell of Oak Ridge, TN, Theresa (Ashley) Sleep of Nasonworth, NB, Pauline (John) Lannon of St. John's, NL, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Boulos, son Joseph Boulos and her parents Sydney and Anne (Burt) Burt. Visitation took place at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday, June 23rd from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service took place on Friday, June 24th at 3 p.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. Predeceased by her parents John and Caroline Decker; 8 sisters and 6 brothers. BROWN, Macolm -
Passed peacefully away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, Ontario on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Malcolm Brown age 82 years of Trinity, Bonavista Bay. Malcolm was born to Kenneth and Frances Brown of Trinity, Bonavista Bay on September 21, 1928. On May 18, 1948 he married Stella Ricketts of Valleyfield and together they raised three daughters. He was employed for several years as Postmaster both at Trinity and again in Tilt Cove, before he moved with his family to Scarborough, Ontario in 1960. They have lived in Peterborough since 1991. Malcolm is predeceased by his parents Kenneth Brown born at Fair Island and Frances Brown (nee Wells) born at Gooseberry Island; sisters Martha Bungay (Alphaeus), Susanna Preston (Jabez) and Annie Pond; brothers Robert, Caleb Marshall (Dulcie) and Alfred George. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Stella; daughters Shirley Smith (Les), Marjorie Grant (Jim) and Yvonne Taylor (Don); grandchildren Solveig, Tania, Jaime, Julie, Kristy, John, Robert and Jeff; great-grandchildren Christina, Christopher, Jonathon, Janissa, Brandon and Riley; great-great-granddaughter Charlie; and a large circle of other loving family and friends. Passed peacefully away on June 29, 2011 at the Masonic Park Nursing Home in the presence of his family, Mervin C. Smith age 67 years. Predeceased by his father Gordon A. Smith; father-in-law Samuel N. Higdon; brother-in-law Clifford Higdon; and nephew Glen Day. Passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on June 29th, 2011 - Eleanor Joyce (Arnold) Saunders. Predeceased by her parents, Harry & Alfreda Arnold, son - Arnold Brian Saunders, husband, William James Saunders, brothers Chesley, Herbert & Raymond Arnold; sisters Velma Mesh & Dorothy White as well as many other family members & friends. Left with many happy memories are daughter Dianne & son in law Lynn Wentzell (Gander, NL), grandson Jeremy Wentzell (Karen) (Newmarket, ON), & grand-daughter Jessica Wentzell (Tony) (Halifax, NS), plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Committal service took place on July 6, 2011 at Olivet United Church Cemetery, Traytown, NL.
