Sharing the sad news of the passing of a loved and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. Frances (mom) will always be honoured and remembered for her generosity and kindness towards others. Her gentle and nurturing ways will be forever in the hearts of her family and friends. As a life-long member of the ACW and other community organizations, she gave whole heartedly of her time and commitment. Her spirit will be forever etched in the ACW concerts, socials and her church community. Forever guided under her gentle wings, her husband, Tom, her children, Denise (Paul), Darlene (Dave), Randy (Susan), Bruce (Bonnie), and her eight grandchildren; Nicholas, Nathan, Mark, Alexa, Andrew, Abby, Benjamin, and Mackenzie; her brothers, Saul (Stella), David (Marie), Don (Jean) and sisters, Mellie (Stuart, deceased), Bernice (Reg) and her many extended family and friends. BROCKIE, Laura
Passed away peacefully at the A. M. Guy Memorial Health Care Centre in Buchans on July 9, 2015, Laura Mae Brockie, age 74 years. Predeceased by her parents, Emma and Joseph Boone. Left with loving memories are her son Robert (Kim) of Montreal, Quebec, sisters Ethel and Lorna of Buchans, NL, nephew Keith Tilley (Karen) of Ignace Ontario, and a large circle of family and friends. June 5, 1920 - July 12, 2015
Our darling Mom passed away at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Care Centre in Buchans on July 12, 2015. Age 95, Edna Caines (nee Ginn) formerly of Comfort Cove, ND Bay. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Joanna Ginn, her husband Newman (1993), son Alec (1976), son Alvin (1997), brother Reuben (2013), sons-in-law Rohan, Bill and Ron. Left to mourn with loving memories are her children; Doreen (Jack), Elma (Edmund), Joan, Myra (Melvin), Louise (Albert), Mac (Mary), Marilla, Gloria, Cynthia (Ryerson), Bonita (Derm), Brian (Kathleen), Denise (David), sister Sandra (Bern), sisters- in- law Theresa and Rennee, 38 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren and 5 more babies on the way this year. The family wishes to thank the staff at the A. M. Guy Memorial Health Care Centre for their kindness to Mom in the last 20 months, as well as the Medical staff. Passed away peacefully at the Golden Years Estate on Tuesday, July 21st. 2015 at the age of 92 years young. Predeceased by his loving wife Grace Josephine (Woods) July 1993. Sons: Brian James, July 2008 and Barry Christopher, December 2014. Leaving with strong heartfelt loving memories Daughters: Cavelle Kingston, ON and Ann Marie St. John's, NL Sons: Howard Jr. Gander, NL, Tim (Patricia) Corunna, ON., John (Bev) Gander, NL and Gerard Bancroft, ON. HALLETT, Mavis
Hallett, Mavis aged 56, passed peacefully away on July 20, 2015. She will be forever loved and missed by those lives she touched. She leaves with fond memories her parents, Harry and Frances Hallett, daughters Lorie Cooke (Robert) and Tracy Coles (Dennis), son Matthew Mallette, grandchildren Victoria, Hailey, CJ, Sasha and Amelia; sisters Cora (Doug), Michelle (Bill) and Aundrea, brothers Jack (Doris) and Baden (Connie). She leaves Zoey her four legged companion as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
