STOCKLEY, Adolphus -
Passed peacefully away on July 3, 2005 at Brookfield
Hospital, Adolphus Stockley of Wesleyville, age 73 years. Predeceased
by his parents, Emma and Norman Stockley. Left to mourn with fond and loving
memories are his wife, Susie; sons, William (Asseneth) of Lumsden, Norman (Shirley)
of Valleyfield, Neil of Wesleyville; daughters, Zelda Hann (John) of Wesleyville,
Wavey Hillier (Gordon) of Wesleyville; brothers, Peter (Lorraine) of Wesleyville;
Edward (Janave) of Wesleyville; sister, Bernice Sturge (Robert) of Pound Cove;
10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives
and friends. Funeral service was held on July 5, 2005 at Jubilee United Church
, Wesleyville, with Rev. Heather Sandford officiating. Interment followed at
the United Cemetery, Wesleyville. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake

ARBOUR, Paul -
Passed away suddenly at home (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario ) on Tuesday,
July 5, 2005 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of
Kay (nee Thistle). Son of the late Douglas and Floris Arbour. Dear brother of
Joan Fazi (Frank) and Brian (Ann). Brother-in-law of Billie Thistle (Lucie),
Wallace Thistle (Jo-Anne), Shirley Jenkins (Ed), Joyce Downing (John), Diane
Keating (Bernard) and Gordon Thistle (Barb). Lovingly remembered by his many
nieces and nephews. Paul retired from St. Mary's Paper (Abitbi) after 38 years
of service and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 25. Friends
called at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (492 Wellington E. Sault
Ste. Marie, Ontario 705-759-2522) on Friday, July 8th from 6-9 pm.
Funeral service was from the chapel on Saturday, July 9th at 10 a.m. Rev. Bruce
McLeish officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery . Memorial contributions to

Passed away suddenly while doing what he loved at Sunshine Pool on the Gander
River on July 7th 2005 , Alvin Eveleigh ,
age 56. Mr. Eveleigh is pre-deceased by father, Victor; brothers Melvin,
Lyndo, and sister, Vivian. Left with fond and loving memories is wife Alice;
son, Terry and Wanda-Lee of Rigolet, Lab.; mother, Kathleen; brothers, Oswald
and Gen of Grand Falls, NL; Gilmore and Rowena of Davidsville, NL; grandchildren,

8th 2005, Leo Patrick O'Rielly, age 86
yrs. Predeceased by brothers, Thomas, Gregory and John; sisters, Katherine
Whalen and Margaret Ryan. Leaving to mourn his wife of 50 years, Mary May,
(nee Mackey); brother, William (Mary); sister, Helen Hogan; sisters-in-law,

Lewis Adams, age 79 years. Predeceased by son, Donald Adams (2000).

BOYDE Allan -
Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Veteran's Pavilion, St. John's on July
13th, 2005, Allan Boyde, age
89 Years. Predeceased by wife, Ida (2002). Left with loving memories are son,
William (Gloria) of St. John's; sisters, Daphne Dalley of Twillingate, Ruby
Murphy and Ada Spencer of ON; grandchildren, Ginette (Brian) Ricketts of Gander
and Jeffery Boyde of St. John's; great-granddaughter, Brianna Ricketts and
a large number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Allan served
in the Royal Navy during WWII. He enlisted in Twillingate in July, 1940 with
the 10th contingent and joined H.M.S. Ganges for training at Shotley
Ipswich. He completed thirty crossings of the Atlantic, patrolled the Denmark
Straits, the Mediterranean, and two Russian convoys. He qualified for Petty
Officer, leading torpedo operator. After six years of dedicated services he
arrived home on the Queen Elizabeth, and was discharged March 24th,
1946. In 1949 he was transferred to Gander with Canada Customs, and worked
with them for 35 years. He will be remembered for repairing many watches and
clocks as a part time watchmaker. Allan enjoyed hunting and fishing on the
Gander River. Most of all he loved his wife, his family, grandchildren and
great-granddaughter, Brianna. Funeral Service was held, Saturday, July 16th at
10:00 A.M. from Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery.

QUINLAN, Hubert (1942-2005) -
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hubert
(Burt) Quinlan on Monday, July 18, 2005, surrounded
by family at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. He was predeceased
by his parents, Wesley and Myrtle Quinlan of Birchy Bay, sister, Wavie and
brother-in-law, Curtis Mouland. Left with loving memories are his sons, Cameron,
Corwin (Jennifer), and his daughter, Coralee (Randall); brothers, Claude
(Verbena), Garland (Pat), Woodrow (Gwen), Vanzel (Kim), Seymour (Evelyn),
Randy (Kelly), Shawn, Bonn (Joanne) Donn (Sherrie); sisters, Olive Mouland,
Betty White (Arthur), Bertha Handcock (Kirby) and Esther Burton (Eric); grandchildren,
Danika and Nicholas; and many other extended family and friends. Funeral
services and interment took place at the Apostolic Faith Church , Birchy

Gander on July 20th 2005 , Connie Greening
(nee James) aged 62 years. Predeceased by father, Jack James -
1990, brother David - 2001. Left to mourn with fond and special memories
are her long time loving companion, Ron Jones; daughter, Heather McGrath
of Moncton, son, Ken (Heather) of St. John, N.B.; mother, Elizabeth James
of Gander, brothers, Bud (Bernice) of Gander, Don (Joy) of Dartmouth, N.S.;
sister-in-law, Phyllis James of St. John's; seven grandchildren; special
