Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital Gander, in the early morning on January 02, 2015 Edward M Burry, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents Edward and Lucy Burry, brothers, Claude, Llewellyn, Fred and Ambrose, sisters, Phoebe, Ella and Leah. Left with loving memories are his wife, Marina, Brother Albert (Louise), brothers-in-law Don Freake, John Porter, Alec (Phyllis) Porter, Marshall (Doris) Porter, Hubert ( Pansy) Porter, sisters-in-law Mary Burry, Hilda Lewis, Margaret (Harold) Manuel. Rested at St. George's Anglican Church Boyd's Cove. Funeral service was held on Sunday, January 04, 2015. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Boyd's Cove. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Edward's memory may be made to St. George's Anglican Cemetery Fund. Arrangements entrusted through Gordon Woolfrey's Funeral Home, Lewisporte.

BURRY, Michael Andrew

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one Michael Andrew Burry age 22 years of Pool's Island on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Grande Prairie, AB. Andrew is predeceased by his grandmother Dorothy Granter. He leaves to mourn with cherished and loving memories his parents Shawn and Connie (Janes) Burry; his girlfriend Courtney Dickson of Valleyview, AB, brother Scott (Erica) of Newtown; sister Charlene (Corey) of Gambo; grandparents Ernest and Mary Janes of Badger's Quay; niece Tierra; nephews Gavin and Blake; aunts and uncles Wade Granter (Lana) of Valleyfield, Brendan Granter (Crystal) of Cold Lake, AB, Lorrieann Street (Terry) of Paradise, Angela Burry (Greg) of CBS, Ernie Janes (Janice) of Badger's Quay and Sharon Janes (Floyd) of Wesleyville; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay on Sunday, January 25, 2015 with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on January 8, 2015 at Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's, JOSHUA COWARD age 100 years of Greenspond, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his wives; Ellen (1993) and Ann (2000), sister; Emily Butt (2006) and daughter-in-law; Audrey (Briffett) Coward (2010). Left with fond memories of a wonderful father and great card player are his children; Florence Young (Erle) of Toronto, Daphne Duffy (Roy) of Dartmouth, Bill (Donna) of Dartmouth, Art (Alice) of Fall River, Martin (Karen) of Winnipeg, Stella Brown (Wayne) of St. John's and Yvonne Walsh (Mike) of St. John's. Also left with great memories of Poppy are 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our loved one on January 7, 2015, CYRIL FREDERICK DYKE age 63 years of Wesleyville. Predeceased by his parents; Samuel and Elsie Dyke, father-in-law; Andrew Hann and mother-in-law; Sadie Hann. Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, Zena Grace Gillingham, age 92. Predeceased by her loving husband Raymond, parents Patience and Fred Hicks, sister Rosabelle Macdonald, brothers Bert and Eugene and son in-law Roy Oake. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are son Calvin, Noggin Cove and daughter Betty Oake, Mount Pearl, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral Service took place on Saturday January 24 from Carmanville United Church. Interment at Noggin Cove, Cementary.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Central Regional Health Care Centre, Grand Falls - Windsor on Thursday, January 22, 2015 Samuel Ebert Edgar Goodyear age 73 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Flossie Goodyear; nephew Dwayne Goodyear and brother-in-law Edgar Whalen. Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Sunday, January 25th, 2015, Verna Elizabeth Head, Age 88. June 29, 1932 - January 24, 2015

In loving memory of Mohinder K. Singh Manocha, who passed away peacefully in the presence of family following recent illness. She is survived by her 5 children (Jug, Bal, Gurpreet, Joty, and Paul), their spouses, and 12 grandchildren. Remembered for her love for family and friends and sense of humour. She touched many lives through her teaching and nursing work in Gambo and St. John's, and later retired in Vancouver. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be missed by many. Funeral services on January 31 in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ASK Friendship Centre.

PEARCEY, Jean
Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on January 12th 2015 Jean V. Pearcey age 93 years. Predeceased by husband William 2001, Sons David 2000 and Derek 2011. SEXTON, Dr. Patrick Hugh
Peacefully with his family at his side, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Marguerite Sexton (née Dwyer) and the late Pauline Decker. Loving father of Daniel Sexton (Karen Anne), Jennifer Sexton, Robert Sexton (Norine), Michael Sexton (Tulee). Loving father to step children Serena McKenna (Ted) and Chad McKenna (Joanne). Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 11 siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents (Greg and Mary), two brothers (Leo and Greg), and a granddaughter (Clara). A practicing family doctor since 1971 in Newfoundland and Ontario, Pat was an avid music lover, bodhran player, golfer, outdoorsman, photographer, seafood cook, tea bun baker and so much more. Pat's family would like to express their gratitude to his physician, Dr. John Beamish, and all the wonderful staff of the PRHC Palliative Care Unit. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. Passed peacefully away at the James Peyton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on January 25, 2015, John Stuckless, at the age of 89. John, originally from Norris Arm South, was a long-time resident of Gander, retired from Allied Aviation. John is predeceased by wife, Audrey; brothers Rickie, Norman, sisters Stella, Maude, Margaret and Violet. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Judy (Rein), Ruth (Leigh), Madeline (Bert), and their families; brothers Don, Fred and Terry; grandchildren Christopher, Marc, Jade, Taylor, Connie, Charlene; great grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie, Riley, Tyler, Grady and Gabe; and numerous other family and friends.
