BRODERICK, Daniel
Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on December 9th 2014 Daniel L. Broderick Sr. age 65 years. Predeceased by father Gregory, brother Brian, brother-in-law Fred Barrow, sisters-in-law Phyllis Broderick, Susanne Stanford, Denise Stanford, Olga Williams. Left with loving memories are wife Sharon, daughters Lisa (Corrie) White of Gander, Gail Troke (Ryan Sadler) of St. Catherines, ON., Alexa Broderick , son Daniel Jr. of Toronto, ON., mother Philomena of Glenwood, brothers Ewart (Wanda) of Browns Arm, Lenard (Marion) of Appleton, Bruce of Stephenville, Michael (Geraldine) of Fort McMurray, William of Gander, Cyril (Vickie) of Gander, Gary of Gander, Peter (Christine) of Roger's Cove, Anthony (Paula) of Gander, Eugene (Heather) of Gander; sisters Frances (Harvey) Morgan of Cupids, Evelyn Shea of Dartmouth, NS, Phyllis (Dave) Morrissey of Appleton, Norma Barrow of Gander; sister-in-law Ann Broderick of Gander; Grandsons Andrew White of Gander, Sammy Broderick of Toronto, Grand Daughters Kiersten Troke of St. Catherines, ON, Melanie Broderick of Toronto, ON, Jessica Sadler of St. Catherines, ON., and also a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Rested at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Glenwood. Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th, from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Glenwood. Interment Roman Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel's memory may be made to the St. Anne's Church Fund. CLARKE, Dawson
Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield on December 15, 2014, Dawson Robert Clarke age 68 years of Pool’s Island. Predeceased by his parents; Jack Driscoll and Reta Clarke, Uncle Isaac and Aunt Bessie Porter (whom he was raised by), sister; Elizabeth Rideout. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are, his wife; Lillian, brother; Harvey Porter (Marie) of Kelligrews, sisters; Violet (Dave Noel) of Calgary, Alb. Susan (Wade Hunt) of Calgary, Alb. Gail (Guy Collins) of Kelligrews, special great-nephew; Roger Porter and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on December 18, 2014 at St. James Anglican Church, Pool’s Island with Rev. Tim Graham officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Pool’s Island. CRANN, Marion Marie
It’s with a heavy heart and many fond memories that the Crann family announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother Marion Marie Crann (nee Yates) on December 10, 2014 at the age of 78. Leaving to celebrate her wonderful life, loving husband Roy, daughters Marlene (Paul), Pauline, Michelle (Todd), Heather (Jim), her 7 cherished grandchildren Matthew, Samantha, Aaron, Evan, Olivia, Keegan and Nicholas, siblings Dick (Alma), Gertie (Wallace), Hazel (Brian), special friends Olga and Greg as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Many thanks to Dr. B. Tompkins and the staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, Dr. B. Flemming, the amazing staff of Southview, and all the staff of the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00pm from The Salvation Army Mt. Pearl Citadel. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery Blackmarsh Road. CUFF, Glen
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our loved one on December 8, 2014 on Route 330 South of Lumsden, NL, Glenn Cuff age 43 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his father Watson Cuff; grandfather Cyril Cuff; grandparents Donald and Edna Stuckless. Left with fond and loving memories are his mother Linda (Gladstone) of Lumsden; brother Jeffrey (Nancy) of Lumsden; wife Kathy and daughter Virginia of Lumsden; step-daughter Holly (Jason Granger) of Alberta; step-grandchildren Eleanor and Landen of Alberta; grandmother Dorcas Cuff of Lumsden; nephew Watson of Lumsden; niece Bella of Lumsden; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. GREENE, Barry Christopher
Sept. 3rd, 1957 - Dec. 11th, 2014

Passed away suddenly of Natural Causes in Edmonton, AB. Cremation has already taken place in Edmonton. Burial will take place in Gander, NL. Predeceased by his loving mother Grace and brother Brian. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his father Howard, Sisters Ann Marie and Cavelle, Brothers Howard Jr., Tim (Patricia), John (Bev) and Gerard. Also nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Especially cousin Loretta (Lo Lo) and the families best friend Linda Quinlan. Barry will be greatly missed by all. NIPPARD, Geraldine
Geraldine (Baker) Nippard
- passed away peacefully on Dec 2, 2014 at Lakeside Homes in Gander, NL. Predeceased by her husband Lindsay and brothers Lewis, Doug and Stewart. Survived by her sons Craig (Sandy) Moore, Gerald, her only grandson Cory Moore, sisters Rachel and Myrtle, brothers Raymond, Alfred, and Arthur, sister-in-law Harriet Ann (Decker) and her brother-in-law Eric (Violet). Geraldine will be greatly missed by too many friends and family to mention but a special Thank-You to Geraldine Webb for handling all the arrangements. Cremation has taken place on Dec 3, 2014 by Stacey’s Funeral Home, and a memorial service will be held later in May 2015.

SHUGARUE, William
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William (Bill) Shugarue on Monday, December 1, 2014. Bill will be remembered lovingly by family and friends alike for his generosity and kindness to all he knew. Born in Gander, Newfoundland, in 1953, to William and Edith (Collins) Shugarue. Bill was a beloved father, husband, and friend, especially to the gang on Laura Court and his lifelong friend, Nick Philpott. Bill was a devoted father spending hours with his son, Jason, at the hockey rink and his daughter, Victoria, in the riding ring. He was a most dedicated employee with Air Canada working 41 years in the industry and winning the coveted "Service Award", a national award of peer recognition for service excellence. He was also involved in "Dreams Take Flight". Bill is survived by wife, Elaine (Layte); son, Jason Paul; daughter, Victoria Jane; sisters, Patsy (Melvin), Roseanne (Malcolm); sister-in-law, Jean; brothers, Doug (Jane), Brian, Darryl (Terrylee), Don (Charlene), Barry, Dean (Deanne); brothers-in-law, Roy (Barbara), Jerry (Anita), Harold; best friend for life, Nick Philpott; mother-in-law, Daisy Layte and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, father-in-law, Harold; nephew, Rodney. Bill’s whole life was his family, friends, and his work. He was loved by all and was a man everybody could count on. Memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Fall River on Friday, December 5, 2014, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Center, Gander on December 2nd 2014 Edna Tibbo age 88 years. Predeceased by parents Willis and Elizabeth Carter, husband Gilbert Tibbo, brothers Wilf and Ken, sister Elvina. Left with loving memories are her sons Roy Tibbo of Gander, Terry Tibbo (Beverley) of Gander, step sons Frank (Joyce) Tibbo of Gander, Ewart Tibbo of Gander, brothers Sidney (Amy) Carter of Manitoba, Ches (Pat) Carter of Gander, Herbert (Pat) of Victoria, BC., Eric Carter of Gambo, sisters Maggie Speed of Alberta, Jean (Dave) James of Gander, Judy (Albert) Olford of Clarenville. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. It is with great sadness the family of Kyran Walbourne announce his passing on Tuesday, December 9th, surrounded by his family at James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, age 74 years. Predeceased by his father Peter, mother Stella, step-father Michael, siblings Peter (Alice), Gregory, Neddy, Rita (Bill) and Ron. Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife June, daughter Kyra (Anthony), granddaughter Khloe, brothers Ben (Marie), Gerard, Gerald (Rebecca), Bud (Heather), sister Edna (Les), sister-in-law Ann, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 12th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gander. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
