Following a short illness, Allan Kennedy of Gambo passed away unexpectedly at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Thursday, August 19, 2004 in his 78^th year. Predeceased by his wife, Annie (1995). Allan leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories three daughters, Brenda (Ross), Marilyn (Lyndon), both of Corner Brook and Jacky (Mike) of Ottawa; and one son, Craig, with whom he resided. He also leaves to mourn his passing four grandchildren, Sheldon Bungay, Michael and Steven Wiseman, and Jasmine Goulding; three sisters, Chloe, Sadie and Nellie; three brothers, William, Sterling and Charles; other family members and friends. A service of remembrance, tribute and thanksgiving was held on Sunday, August 22^nd at the Gambo Corps of the Salvation Army with Captains and Corps Officers, Wyclife and Shirley Reid officiating. They moved to Glenwood after her husband retired from M.O.T. in 1969 and has resided in Glenwood for the last 35 years.
