Predeceased by her parents Abner and Hilda Blackwood; husband Philip; brothers Peter, Ross, Joseph, Eric and Eleazor; sister Stella Roberts; brothers-in-law Clarence Janes and Ronald Roberts; sisters-in-law Edwina Blackwood and Gertrude Blackwood. IRELAND, Wavey
After a brief illness at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, on Monday April 28, 2014 our beloved Wavey passed away at the age of 77. She is survived and dearly missed by her husband Bill, loving Mother of Warren (Laura) and Wendy. She is Grandma to two beautiful grandchildren Brody and Bailey. Dear sister of Lillian Pride of Cobb's Arm Newfoundland. Also loved by her nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the New World Island United Church Saturday June 21st, 2014 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow in the Church hall. Love and heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the emergency and intensive care units at the hospital.
