BUNGAY, Maisie
Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on April 1st 2013 Maisie Frances Bungay age 80 years. Predeceased by sister Mona (2006), son Keith (2009). Left with loving memories are her husband and best friend Reg, son Kevin (Suzette) of Winnipeg, MB., daughter Catherine (John) Butler of Gander, daughter-in-law Kim of St. John's, brother Leonard (Joan) of Halifax, NS., sister Mae Kit of Gander. Grandchildren Kevin, Margaret, John, Stacey and Kolby, 11 great grandchildren. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral service was held Thursday, April 4th from St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery. FELTHAM, Ingwald Gordon
August 21st, 1941 - April 29th, 2013

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ingwald Gordon Feltham on April 29th, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Margaret; son, Neville (Michelle), Daughters; Amanda (Derek), Kim (Watson), Nicole (Pratt); grandchildren Stephanie, Joshua, Jacob, Sarah, Jessica, Jared, Sabrina, Jonah, Kate, Delia & Preston. Predeceased by his parents; Philip and Amelia. Brothers; Fred, Chesley, Wilson. Sister; Jane. Parent's in law; Allan and Blance Simms of Gander Bay. Ingwald will also be missed by a large circle of family and friends. For over 30 years he worked with Newfoundland Power, a long time member of the Gambo Town Council and the Gambo Fire Department; a coach with minor hockey, a foster parent for many years. Ingwald also had a great involvement with the 50 Plus Club and was a loyal member of the Salvation Army Mens Fellowship. The funeral service took place on Friday, MAy 3rd, 2013 at the Salvation Army Citadel in Gambo. Captains David and Melanie Rideout officiated.

GOODYEAR, Roland
Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Sunday, April 7, 2013 Roland George Goodyear age 80 years of Deadman's Bay. Predeceased by his parents Pearl and Eldon Goodyear; mother and father-in-law Myrtle and Ralph Kean; brother Baxter; sister Blanche and husband Harold West; brother-in-law Newman Stokes; sister-in-law Linda Goodyear and nephew Ryan. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Mary; sons Jim (Bernice) of Lumsden, Russell (Elizabeth) of Mt. Pearl and Guy of Mt. Pearl; daughter Paula of Deadman's Bay; brothers Harvey (Celma) of Deadman's Bay, Winston (Barbara) of Deadman's Bay, Sidney (Shirley) of Hare Bay, Carson (Ruby) of Deadman's Bay, Newman of Ontario, Leo (Joan) of Deadman's Bay and Lawrence (Goldie) of Deadman's Bay; sisters Mabel of Lumsden, Lorraine (Seaward) of Musgrave Harbour and Violet (Bill) of Ontario; grandchildren Tim (Brendalee), Terri (Keith), Nicole, Andy, Amanda, Damien and Darrin; great-grandchildren Jonah and Jayda Ann; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at St Andrew's United Church, Deadman's Bay on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed at The United Church Cemetery, Deadman's Bay. GOODYEAR, Trixie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Trixie Rolena Goodyear age 89 years of Lumsden, on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Brookfield Hospital. Predeceased by her parents George and Louisa Goodyear; husband Alexander Goodyear; sons Hedley, Norman, Sidney and Herbert; sister Leon; brothers James Goodyear and Abram Goodyear; son-in-law Ernest Goodyear. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Clarence(Wanda) of Lumsden; daughters Winnie (Thomas Pinsent) of Belleview, Maxine (Glyn Howell) of Templeman and Roma (Paul Goodyear) of Lumsden; daughters-in-law Paula Goodyear of Lumsden and Edna Goodyear of Gander, brother Mark (Irene) of Lumsden; sisters Leon (Edgar Stagg) of Cape Freels and Julia (Donald Bowns) of Grand Falls-Windsor; sisters-in-law Mabel Goodyear of Lumsden and Jean Goodyear of Hillcrest Manor, Musgrave Harbour; uncle Richard Stagg (Dorothy) of Bay Roberts; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at The Kingdom hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lumsden on Friday, April 26, 2013 with Mr. Donald Bowns officiating. HOLLEY, Wayne
Passed peacefully away on April 22nd, at the Hugh Twomey Health Care Center, Botwood after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Wayne Holley age 57. Wayne was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, 291 trade. He was a Scout leader for many years. He was also an active member of Saint Martin's Parish in Gander. Leaving to mourn wife Peggy, Sons, Jason (Roz Ford), Landon (Jessica Woodworth), Grandson Greyson. Parents Gordon & May Hollley, Brother Roy (Ann) and Sister Joanne Porter. Cremation has taken place. Interment took place at Mt. Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook on Thursday, April 25th. Donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the auxiliary of the DHTHCC Box 250 Botwood NL. A0H 1E0.

HUMPRHIES, Grace B.
August 3, 1937 - April 11, 2013

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Grace B. Humphries on April 11, 2013, at the age of 75 years. Grace is predeceased by her parents Chesley & Doris Cable; brothers Chesley Cable Jr. and Hayward Cable; sisters, Jane Cable and Olga Fagan; son in-law Robert Green. She leaves to mourn her husband Oliver; sons, Wayne (Kathleen), Hayward (Dorothy), Warrick (Shelly), Peter, Woodrow (Kathy), Todd; daughters, Linda Green, and Shawna (Brian) Melindy; brother, Calvin (Greta) Cable; sister Edith (Samuel) Upshall; grandchildren, Grant, Curtis, Catherine, Tara, Brittany, Scottie, Geoffrey, Timothy, Jessica, Christopher, Berdina, Deanne and Shanna; great grandchildren, Sarah, Christan, David, Hunter, Lacey and Ethan. Grace was well loved and will be forever remembered by family and friends. Rev. Brian Hannon & Rev George Kean officiated the Funeral service at Memorial United Church Monday, April 15, 2013, 11:00 am, followed by interment at the United Cemetery. JONES, Sadie
Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at the age of 75 years, Sadie Jones. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Dorothy Pardy, sisters Margret Parsons, Louise Mouland, Ilene Banks, sister-in-law Joyce Pardy, brothers Havalon and Euguin Pardy. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Lewis Jones, daughter Diane (Allen) Bungay, of Stratford, ON, brothers Eldred (Marjorie) of Grand Falls, NL, Walter of Gander, sisters Betty (Roland) Winter, of Vallyfield, NL, Rosalind (Bill) Willis, of Dover, NL, Jean Goodyear of Musgrave Harbour, NL, Louise (Garland) Straton of Aspen Cove, NL, grandchildren Gregory Mouland (Celesta) , Shane Bungay, great grandchildren Lincoln, Sloan, and Khole. Also many nieces and nephews. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Friday, April 19th from 2:00 P.M. 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. KELLY, Frederick Walter - 53, of Lower Sackville, NS passed away quietly at the Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by his family on April 24, 2013 after a short but courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Born November 19, 1959 in Gambo, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Frank and Eileen (Stockley) Kelly. Fred retired from the military after 11 years of service then he spent 17 years working as an RN. Fred will be remembered for his outgoing and vibrant nature, his true strong Newfoundland roots, his gift for song and the insurmountable love for his family and children. Fred is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Eileen Kelly. Left to mourn is his wife Andrea, his daughters Jessica (Patrick), Rebecca and infant daughter Ava. Siblings Brian (Frances) Kelly, Bob (Charlene) Kelly, Gar (Rolla) Kelly, Maureen (Paul) Henderson, Sharon (Geoff), Frank (Kate) Kelly, NL, Ross (Cathy) Kelly, Josephine (Albert) Janes, Ian (Linda) Kelly, Kate (Gene) Yeomans, Noel (Jennifer) Kelly, Wayne (Anna) Kelly, and Jason (Jeha) Kelly. Also many nieces and nephews, his in-laws; Ada (Bob), Harold (Darlene), Angie (Barry), Annette (Jeff). Visitation will be at Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo on Monday April 29th from 7pm-9pm and on Tuesday April 30th from 10am-12pm. A funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday April 30th at 2pm at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in Gambo, Newfoundland. KNEE, Joseph
Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013, Joseph Baxter Knee of Badger's Quay, aged 86 years. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Louisa (Thomas) Knee, brothers Chesley and Henry, sisters Trixie Cervo and Margaret Barefoot. Loving wife Yvonne (Brown) Knee, grand daughter Rikki Haley and son-in-law Richard Haley. Left to mourn and fondly remember him are his sons Melvin (Margaret) Badger's Quay, Clyde (Geneva) St. John's, daughters Marilyn Haley St. John's, Rosalind (Terry) Whitby Ont., and Sheila (Barry) Ajax Ont. Brothers Gordon (Sybil), George (Annie), and sisters Eliza Pike and Marie (James) Brown. Grand children Lori Howell, Loran Knee, Jennie Hilborn, Shane Haley, Mindy Hunt, Mitchell Humphries, Jamie Knee, Jenna Knee and Ashley Huxter. Great grandchildren Cara, Melissa, Jordan, Andrew, Kaylee, Emma, Zachery and Alex, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
In his early years, Baxter worked as a seaman, before returning home to the community he loved. Here he raised his family with his wife Yvonne and ran a successful business together for many years. His generosity and kindness guided him, his family and friends fulfilled him. He was a constant to them all, always unconditionally supporting them. He always enjoyed a bit of mischievous fun, a good laugh, a yarn about the same old story and being a part of family gatherings with music and song. To the community, he was the school bus driver that loved the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was the gentleman who enjoyed walking around town with the aid of a walker, stopping to sit on the banks and rocks to take in the sights and sounds and chat with the people as they passed by. He will forever be loved and remembered by all who knew him. Rest in peace dear one, until we meet again.

Predeceased by her parents; Edgar and Lillian Collins of Hare Bay, and brothers: Philip, Wilfred, Rowland and Quince. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Daniel; daughter, Marie (Rick LeBlanc) of St. John's; sons: Frederick (Brenda) of Mt. Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at James Peyton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Colin Aubrey Powell of Happy Adventure, age 84 years. Predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Wesley Powell; and his sisters Naomi Powell and Gerri Surette. Left with fond and loving memories are: his wife of 59 years, Mildred; his two children, Donald (Cindy) and Susan; his two grandchildren, James and Theresa Powell; his brother, Garland (Lily); his sister Margaret Wilcox (Gord); his brother-in-law, Bill Surette; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Passed away suddenly in Gander, April 17, aged 68. Leaving to mourn wife Ruby, son Shane (Melanie), sister Peggy (Calvin Gale), brothers Allan (Isabelle), Roy (Faith), Alex (Carol), brother-in-law Eugene Osmond (Marie). Special friends Rose & Howard Banks, Jiggs & Nita Anstey, Carl & Norma Clouter, Woodreow Banks & Keith Cullen, special God daughter Diane Gale and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by parents John & Dorcas Stuckless, mother-in-law Millicent Osmond & niece Nikki Gale. Funeral Service was held Monday, April 22 in Hampden.

Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on April 4th, 2013 Marybeth Wiseman age 57 years. Predeceased by her father Roy Mac Farlane, mother Annie Tabor, sister Margaret. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Gerald, step brother Monty Tabor of Halifax, NS, sister Edith (Tommy) McElmon of Beaverton, ON, brothers-in-law Jim (Lillias) of Gander, NL, Marvin (Edna) of Bloomfield, NL, Roland (Eleanor) of Fort McMurray, AB, Hedley (Joan) of Musgravetown, NL, Enos (Vicky) of Fall River, NS, sister-in-law Cynthia (Garry) Matthews of Musgravetown, NL.
